Beat these today and we will be 13 points a head of them, and 14 ahead of City who play Friday, and still with a game in hand come Saturday morning....🙂

We'll learn a lot about Rodgers in this match. After the Man City defeat they really do need to beat us to stay in the race. We've seen during his time at Liverpool that he can try desperate tactics when going for a league title - Crystal Palace immediately sprints to mind - and we could well see something similar here. Leicester will likely sit on the counter, but Rodgers could well instruct them to commit heavily on the break and we should be there to take advantage. I don't think a possession game with a high line will be in a favour. A bit of chaos and lack of control will suit us and leave us less vulnerable. We should sit a bit deeper, allow the midfield scramble, leave one fullback back to cover the the long ball down the channels to Vardy and trust our attacking players to create something.

I tend an egomaniac like Rodgers would stab many, many orphans to get 3 points of Jurgen Klopp and derail on title bid. I just hope we're up for it and have the energy to counter-press high up the pitch after our travels. Interesting match for the neutrals. Huge game for both sets of fans. Under the lights, too. Can't wait to sit in work and update the score from my phone.

That means Alisson in goal behind a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

My midfield three is Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Naby Keita behind a front three of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Victory would be huge at the King Power.

Looks like Neco Williams is the preferred backup defender
And yeah Wijnaldum is back!!!

Dennis Praet comes in for Ayoze Perez in their only change to revert to the exact 11 which started at Anfield in October.
There's no Kalechi Iheanacho on the bench for the hosts who are a little light in attack if they need reinforcements, with Hamza Choudhury taking his place among the substitutes.

That isn't an attacking move by Rodgers and I'm happy Ayoze is missing, he's a dangerous player.

I'd be more than happy with a repeat of that in terms of shots, and shots on target, but with more hitting the back of the net. SvP.

Love the idea of Keita and Gini midfield... even though we are sort of forced into in by injuries. This means Gini can focus more on the attacking side of the game, while Keita gets to make those runs from deep.

Looks like 4-2-3-1 from Rodgers, he did a sensible thing by dropping Perez for Praet for better control in midfield. Iheanacho not even on the bench, strongest team otherwise.

Looks like a 5 man midfield from Leicester. Vardy alone upfront. Set up to shackle our fullbacks and hit us on the counter.
