Only watched the highlights of the City - Leicester game and I saw nothing new, they're dangerous when they counter. Vardy will look to make runs at our goal using the defenders blind side.

Away game at Leicester 4 days after traveling back from Qatar, doesn't sound great but they're looking tired and hopefully that levels the playing field fitness wise.

I'd be content with a draw all things considered. Do wonder if Leicester will be a bit low on morale after their last two League results, and might play a more cagey game as a result.
Hopefully Gini is back.

Leicester will want a performance after the city game and we could be knackered after the Doha trip. Will klopp rotate the team, as this isn’t a game we could away with that. Hopefully the feel good factor of being world champions will be enough to get through this one

5 days which should make all the difference.

Also worth noting every ‘big’ game they’ve faced when they’ve looked promising they’ve lost and looked poor.

Utd
Us
City

Granted this one is at home but I still fancy us to win comfortably.

I'm thinking of it like playing a big team, away, after a CL away game.

In those matches we almost always struggle, hence my pessimism/pragmatism.

It could go either way, major backlash from winning the final or riding along on that positive wave.

Good thing is we’ve got 4 more days and Klopp will have them hungry for more success.
Will be a tight game regardless and Vardy loves playing against us.

This will be a tough one. Good job we have VVD back and Gomez is looking good alongside him. Front three picks itself. Can see Hendo Millie and a Lallana in the middle.

May have mentioned this before, but I’ve a friend who’s a Leicester fan and said they’re starting to tire already. Although we will be no doubt jaded after Qatar, spirits will be high after the trophy win and we have a deeper squad, which Klopp has managed and rotated superbly. Something he deserves a lot of credit for.

A draw would be acceptable given the circumstances. Never like to drop points, but with injury issues in midfield and at the back and coming back from Qatar and playing extra time, I'd take a point.

It's a 5 day break between games. Very confident now - the CWC win will have given us a huge boost and we'll be up for this even more than we would have been. Gomez will take care of Vardy. 1-3 win.

I watched the City-Leicester game and Leicester were being flat out dominated for long periods of the game, though the game was at the Etihad while we have to play them at King Power where they should be better. A draw is a good result as it ticks a game off the clock and they don't gain any points, but we should be rested enough to go in there and get the 3 points.

Their home form is pretty strong
  • lost only once in the last 15 league matches, against Newcastle back in April
  • unbeaten in the last 11 league matches (F22 A5)

Still last three (incl carabeo) is without a win. We should be able to beat them. Even a draw will be good.

Well I must admit that my mentality is a little fragile from time to time.

Remember when we settled for a draw at OT last year and some thought it was a good result.

Fuck that keep this winning run going for as long as possible by going all out.

This was the point where we drew our first game (after 8 wins) let’s surpass it now

Although a draw would be acceptable, I don't want us to draw precisely for the reasons @Dreambeliever has pointed out. However, I am worried about this game, as I suspect the Leicester players will be on top form given that they had just lost to Man City which is why I was hoping that yesterday's result for them would have been a draw, they will double their efforts against us. We really need to bring our A game in this next match.

I am pretty sure noone wants us to draw and everyone wants us to win.

They’ve dropped 5 pts in the last 2 games and lost a two goal lead against Everton in the cup.

We also completely dominated them at home, are European Champions and World Champions.

Their confidence should be shot.

Nah. They are Leicester City and is in second come xmas, and also in semifinal of the league cup. They lost at Etihad which most teams does but they have probably 7 wins in last Ten in addition to a strong home record. They will be full of confidence that they can get something here.

When we beat them they’ll gave 1 pt in 9 and the freefall will start.
