Says it all about Simeone when he just runs down the tunnel without thanking Klopp for the game.

Why are all the news platforms giving the first goal to Salah? BBC report even says Milner got a toe to it, but they still claim it is Salahs goal. Is Millie too scared to swear on his daughters life?

It didn’t touch Milner.

BBC :

"Earlier, Salah had given the Reds the lead when his low finish at the end of a weaving run found the net off the toe of James Milner"

It came off Kondogbia but was already on target. Mo's goal.

I enjoyed that so much.

A complete shit house win against the ultimate shit house team, in the cathedral of shit house football in Europe. Beautiful.

We know we need to improve, but it's a perfect game to galvanise us before United.

Imagine the state of BlueMoon right now.

Hahahaha.

Exactly. This is what football is about - this team doesn’t owe us perfection, there will always be issues and things to improve even with this great collection of players and Klopp, but we should really enjoy nights like this. Let’s give our thanks to the German referee, VAR working as it should, Salah’s cool nerves, Naby lad’s volleying technique and yes, Atletico’s antics and amazing attacking quality for an amazing night of entertainment. I don’t remember a recent CL group stage match as memorable as this.

Just to highlight the fantastic achievement by this team tonight.
Atletico unbeaten at home in European football for the last 4 years. 1 loss in 40 games.
Scoring 3 goals and getting 3 points. Massive result and very impressive.

The pundits on the channel I watched also mentioned that Atletico has never before conceded
3 at home in a European game in their history. That’s some achievement to break this streak if true.

A dirty win as Klopp said, thats pretty much spot on. Lovely dirty win.
Surprised he didnt call these massive 3 points at one of the toughest grounds in the World a dogshit performance though.
