Folks get your claims in.
I have had several loans and credit cards over the years but never accepted PPI as it all seemed to have too many exclusions to me.
I, like all of us had been bombarded with claims compaines asking me to use them ETC. One particular one called me and I told them that I have never had PPI, they said don't worry a lot of businesses like Lloyds, Teso, Northern Rock put it on anyway without you knowing.
As I had in the past had lots of business with Northern rock and LLoyds I agreed to put in one of their claims. I had to fill in lots of forms but with only the info I knew like account number (don't worry if you don't have it they will find it) and personal details like the usual DOB, previous addresses ETC and signed.
I heard nothing for a month or so but last night I recieved a massive offer from Lloyds for mis-selling me PPI. I never asked for it or knew I even had it, they put it on regardless.
This happened for 9 loans or credit cards from Lloyds over the last 10 years.
I have to give the claims company 39% but as I only filled in a few forms I 'm not that bothered.
So, I recommend trying a claim even if you think you never had PPI folks, the sneaky feckers may have put it on anyway.
