I know Rodgers talks some shite, and doesn't do himself any favours at times, but no matter what he says it'll be twisted and in a negative manner. Any excuse to stick the boot in.

It's so fucking weird supporting Liverpool at the minute.
 
What Rodgers must understand is that he is the manager of Liverpool FC and not Swansea. If you only win 6 out of 15 games and play shit and lost 6-1 against Stoke, totally outplayed in the FA Cup SF against a shit Villa and 0-3 against West Ham then you are very very lucky if you are not sacked.

Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world but he acts like we are no bigger than Swansea. No agenda against him.

Thanks to him it will now be open war in the media. A war he can't win. It will hurt the club and it will hurt himself. If you think that there is an agenda against you then you use your contacts in the media to get it out. Rodgers himself must shut the fuck up and not mention it.

Sorry, but that's just untrue. If Rodgers had just talked about the game, said what had worked and what needs improving, there would have been very few moans and groans. A Liverpool manager claiming there's a conspiracy to get him sacked is not some innocent remark that biased people latch onto. It's a bloody stupid thing for him to have said, and it will now dog him for however long he's at the club.
 
Good win. Just saw the game and didnt think we were appaling at all.
Two relatively poor goals to give away but we scored 3 very good goals.
Studge looks class already and Milner was much better today.

Getting 3 points was obviously most important but it was a decent performance aswell.
Brendan did himself no favours with that post match interview and his celebrations looked a bit toned down.

All in all. A good day.
 
Regarding the press conference, the conspiracy comments are going to dominate the headlines but if you actually watch what said and how he said it, it was all very measured and he heaped praise on the players rather than trying to take any credit for himself. Which makes me wonder if the other stuff was about keeping the pressure on himself and off the players. There was nothing emotional or unscripted about this...he knew exactly what he was doing irrespective of whether we think it was right or wrong.
 
Yep, its an intentional dig at someone, which didn't need making and just causes the story to rumble on. I don't blame him for being pissed off at all the conjecture but his ego is taking over. Gone is the humility that endeared him to fans when he first joined. The things, he should be humbler than ever given what he's actually achieved i.e fuck all.

Spot on! With Everton, Spurs and Chelsea coming up and saints and Rubin as a tricky mix in between ninja and the accountant would serve us well by clamming it for a week.

I do love gkmacca as poster on here. .

He posts some silly stuff from time to time that makes people laugh, however he also post stuff that actually makes sense.

He says things exactly how it is..

Lucas had his best game in a Liverpool shirt.

He was immense.

I absolutely love Ings work rate and attitude.

Studge looks about 50% match fit but what a difference that goal made to his confidence.
