Karius fucking dreadful, if he ever plays for us again then Klopp needs locking up as he could be a risk to the public.
Looked pretty tame up front without Salah.
Some excellent performances, some bang average ones, and one that’s the worst I’ve ever seen in the final.

Thats a hard pill to swallow. Karius aside we were 2nd best for the last hour. Salah took our confidence with him when he hobbled off the pitch. We got overrun in the centre of the park and didnt have the depth on the bench to change things. Dont think any of our bench would make the Madrid squad. A lot of flat performances, Firmino was poor as were the 3 in midfield.

Some big decisions for Klopp this summer. Karius Liverpool career is over after this, we know it, he knows it too. The midfield needs to be rebuilt and the squad is horrifically under powered.

We couldn't get near them, at all, it was the first time i have seen our pressing fail so miserably.

The score was kept respectable because of our defenders on the night. A defender even made our goal.

We didn't cause them enough problems to win. Ramos and Varane were barely tested after the first 15 mins.

Ramos might be a dirty fucker but in a weird way I admire someone who will do anything to win and that's what he done. He didn't know for certain that Salah would be injured when he grabbed him but he definitely tried to do him and we were unlucky that it happened to our best and most influential player. Most winning teams have at least a few dodgy cunts playing for them and it can make a big difference in big games. No one complained when we had Tommy Smith, Jimmy Case , Graeme Souness or Steve Mcmahon.

Oh I agree the loss of Salah was a defining moment but stats mean little as we've all experienced having superior possession without winning.

I said earlier that what could go wrong did. I don't think corners etc had anything to do with it.

I said at the time that it mentally deflated us and although it did change of formation it is also clear that before Salah went off we were the better team and after he was injured we clearly weren't. We went from both Mane and Salah pulling them wide and stretching them to just one wing causing them issues and it was so much easier for them after that.
