Poor the Ox

I'm shocked but I've come to love him.
Concerning in that his game is built around pace, power, and athleticism and knee ligament injuries often put those qualities out to pasture.

I can only assume @Rosco is writing off his recovery? I'm probably in on that opinion too.

Hopeful that I'm wrong.

We dont even know if he requires surgery at this point. Its all guesswork.
But if he does have to have surgery, isnt there some new procedure now? Read a bit about it a while ago and a fair few player have returned earlier after than anticipated due to this.

We can only wait and see I guess.

I said it when he told the Sky reporter to do one for trying to force Coutinho into making a statement on his future, this guy has the attitude of a captain. I reckon him or Virgil will take over from Hendo

After last night I'm happy for Henderson to stay captain.

Another post I agree with.

Henderson has not had a good season, partially via injury which he ignored and player through week after week last season so that we could arrive back in the champs league, but when you put him in comparison with other CM who've worn the shirt he has a big spot to fill doesn't he.

Nonetheless his determination on the pitch and his barking instructions and admonishments at players etc... You need that in a Captain and I think he should keep the armband. Other players too show the right things, VVD looks like a captain, Milner as well and Ox comes across brilliantly in interviews but on the pitch itself, Hendo has been showing leadership.

A few weeks back after we had scored and we were on fire he ran up to the celebrating group pulled a teammate away from the group and was clearly telling them to forget celebrating and get back to work and be focussed on something or other, giving an order in some way or other. While the entire ground and a bunch of his teammates were bouncing up and down he ran up and told a teammate to keep focussed.

It shows a high level of determination and it is a really good trait for a captain.

Keane at United used to do it, like everyone else I fucking hated Keane he was a vicious cunt no doubt but without question Keane he was a really great midfielder but... he was also a leader...leadership... Hendo is now really showing it.

Robertson is having an excellent season but Hendo quite clearly barked at him the other night for not dealing with something when they were both chasing after a Roma player...

It's really really good to see, we haven't won jack shit yet so keep your fucking focus.

I suppose it's the increasing ability of us all to communicate constantly via the internet and social media etc but...

I find it shockingly strange when I read that Hendo is "dogshit" or Jurgen Klopp is somehow a bad manager etc... Gini is a ghost who doesn't do anything...

Have we had better midfielders in a Liverpoool shirt than Hendo? Yes of course we have...
Does Gini sometimes disappear in game? Yep, he does sometimes...
Has Klopp made a few mistakes? Certainly...

When I read that Hendo is "dogshit"... Lallana is shit, Gini a mystery ghost and Klopp should somehow be watching his back I just feel like I'm reading the words of a supporter who really doesn't have a fucking iota of a clue how to support the team.

Our ghost Gini showed he could fucking play on Tuesday night didn't he... fantastic performance...

Our "dogshit" captain also played well, harrying opponents while barking instructions to teammates...

But that's it I suppose, the keyword, the ONLY word that really illuminates whether you are a supporter who understands what supporting is the word OUR.

These are OUR players, it's who we got. Did Lovren make a mistake positionally for the Roma goal... yep... did he play badly in that game? No, he played well.

Does anyone still not notice that Klopp has massively improved us and even after a 5-2 win in the semi-final of the European cup, a game in which when we played some of the most sensational attacking footy I've ever seen, (and i'm old enough to remember when we were the best team in the world) the first words out of our managers mouth are about beating Stoke on Satdy... Focus.

I was lucky enough to learn how to be a fan standing in the Kop and I'm fucking LOVING the fact that maybe, just maybe, God willing, we maybe, possibly just might win that nice silver big ears again... my tattoo will maybe require alteration...

Hope there's some actual confirmed news soon.
If it's until the start of next season then it's 4 months which would certainly rule out ACL/PCL as mentioned earlier.

Paul Joyce on Ox in another piece in The Times - "It is understood that he did not suffer a cruciate ligament injury, which would have meant a lengthy rehabilitation. Liverpool hope that he will return for pre-season training at the start of July." #LFC

Paul Joyce has better contacts than anyone else that has talked about this so far, so hopefully the doom merchants writing off next season for O-C are wrong.

One of the lads who retweeted this said he was out for 9 months yesterday...
Joyce usually knows his stuff.

Its the best possible outcome of this shite situation mind.

I choose to believe Paul Joyce over Graeme Kelly, based purely on what they are saying rather than any trust

Graeme Kelly is tweeting as a fan not passing on news.

He probably read Dreamy’s post and freaked out. He’s now re-tweeted Paul Joyce.

Ah...But they didn't say July of which year, did they?

Who was it that was claiming this guy was a kid that just wanted to play video games all the time? The guys such a class act, he impresses me everytime he talks. Gutted for him, but hoping it's only five games this season he misses, and a good preseason gets him back up to full speed, he's got a big future here.

I agree Cantona is a cunt, but the point is his musings made little sense. What the fuck does it mean he's a fucking lemon?

A bitter moment, that isnt a nice taste.... turn it into something more enjoyable...

Who knows with Klopp, the crazy hairbrained German that he is...

He can say whatever he likes in my eyes... He's a legend.

I think he's proved he's far more than that now.

I was one of the most positively vocal on here about his signing, but my close mate told me the computer game story verbatim, he'd just dealt with it, and I posted it. I think I said I felt sorry for mollycoddled cunt, but yeah, he's ace.
