These are all the Strikers/ Forwards we have been linked with over the last few days... ? No doubt we will be linked with a fair few more before the transfer windows closes.. But these are the ones that seem to be getting mentioned quite a bit at the mo..

So if it comes down to it, out of this lot who would you like to see come in before the transfer window ends... ?

I would be tempted by Rhodes if we had some one of the calibre of Berbatov coming in for a couple of years while he develops

Keeping Carroll would be my second choice after Walcott..

I'd initially say Carroll but I really think he will be gone come the end of the Transfer window..

The more I get Rodgers style of play.. the more I see that Carroll just won't fit in...

Just checked & we can't effect that, it's a tapatalk limitation, they have said it will be fixed but have no timescale as yet.

I know!

I voted for Dempsey - but can someone explain to me why a player who is at his peak and may not cost us that much and having had a great season scoring 23 goals in all competitions (17 in PL) last season has only got the one vote ? Is it becasue he is American and you guys don't like yanks, or is it because he is white ?

I went for Sturridge. I like Dempsey, but he is getting a bot long in the tooth, I like Walcott , but I always see him more as a winger than a striker, Huntelaar, not an expert but no spring chicken and would cost decent money, Rhodes? As I said the other day we have Morgan already. I like Andy and don't feel he has been given a fair crack of the whip, but it seems fairly clear that he does not form part of the plan, so it's in everyone's best interests now.
Ideally we would take Sturridge and Dempsey.
To be fair if we got any one of them it would top a good window.

regards

Sturridge would be the best choice as the main striker, I went for Dempsey because he can play as both an attacking midfielder, and any position on the front line and in my opinion is very clinical as a striker. I am confused so far that nearly 20% still want Carroll after not showing up for most of last season, and then the few that want Walcott - who as you say is mainly a winger.

We need goals so huntelaar. Dempsey and rhodes have done it but not over many seasons. Although dempsey would add something different that we dont have.

iPad actually but it's the principle of the thing

Anyway, I voted for Sturridge but fear that he will not fit the Rogers team style

?... and then the few that want Walcott - who as you say is mainly a winger.

I thought one of Walcott's main beefs about Arsene was that he was played out of position as a winger?

Isn't that the point? Walcott wants so badly to be striker, but Arsene won't let him.

Arsene is many things but he can spot and develop a good player. He bought Theo to be the next Henry so if he won't let him play there maybe he just doesn't have it.

Sturridge is a selfish ambitious mofo and he's fast, good and wants to score. So Sturridge it is.
