Ancelotti by a street for me.
Won the league in every country he's managed in.
But there's talks of him taking a year out for surgery.

I can't believe Klopp is winning by such a margin.
We'd want him sacked if he had the season he's just had at Dortmund.
His signings that he's payed decent money for have been largely rubbish too.
Worked miracles with a small budget but I'd have have serious doubts about him signing the right players we need.

Does Klopp even make the signings at Dortmund? That's unusual on the continent. If he does come I'd assumed he wouldn't have a particularly big role in signing players here.

Obviously I'd take Ancelotti but personally I've always been a bit underwhelmed by his record. He always seems to have been at huge clubs with brilliant teams. I can't really think of one where I'm really wowed by what he's achieved - going right back to Juventus. Ok, did well with Milan in Europe, but with a brilliant team - and pretty disappointing in the league.

I think he's overrated. IMO what Klopp's achieved at Dortmund is more impressive than anything Ancelotti's ever done.

I'm probably knit picking because I don't want to hear about another project.
Just want a manager with a recent record of winning things.
This appointment is massive and if Klopp doesn't work then I really don't know what direction we can go in.
I don't buy the he's only done it with big teams argument with Ancelotti.
He gets those big jobs for a reason and people use that shtick to beat Maureen with every season but the cunt knows how to win things.

I don't really want to knock Ancelotti - he's a top manager and I'd love him to come here, but personally I think the resources these guys work with is a major factor.

Tbh I don't know why Ancelotti ever started getting these big jobs. Maybe he achieved something spectacular 20 odd years ago and he's been in top roles ever since. All I remember is I first heard of him as an undistinguished Juve manager - then he went to Milan. And ever since he's managed super clubs - achieving about par. Par at Milan, par at Chelsea and PSG, par at Real.

I dunno, maybe he's one of the great coaches. I just don't think you'd know it if he wasn't.

Since Montella featured in the poll...
[article=http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/05/montella-contract-clause-makes-fiorentina-departure-difficult/]Fiorentina’s impressive domestic and European displays this season has turned other clubs’ attention toward Vincenzo Montella, but the coach’s eventual departure from the Stadio Artemio Franchi is reportedly more easily said than done.

The 40-year old has a contract with the Viola until June 2017 and if any club was to sign him this summer, it would cost them €5 million.

Although he was linked to Napoli, Roma, and AC Milan in April, Il Corriere Fiorentino reported Sunday that so far no club has approached the Viola who are prepared to pay the buy-out clause. If this does not change, the only other option which would allow him to seek a new coaching adventure would be resignation from his current position.

If the former Roma attacker, who has thus far poured cold water on all rumours linking him to a departure from Florence, was to make such request, it would go directly to the club’s president Andrea Della Valle, who has the right to refuse.

Next weekend Montella will complete his third season in charge, a stint that is highlighted by a Coppa Italia final appearance (2014), a semi-final of the Europa League (2015), and two fourth-place Serie A finishes (2013 and 2014).[/article]

On a sidenote, Marcelo Bielsa probably won't be extending his contract with Marseille.
