Probably the most pathetic, shit, Liverpool match I have ever witnessed. McConnell, Chiesa, Elliott, Tsimikas, Diaz - all of them utter utter wank.

If we would’ve shown the intensity of the last 20 over the whole game and we would’ve walked that.
Fairly predictable result, given the squad picked, wouldn't read a huge amount into the performance of a fairly disjointed team that was missing almost all our best players. Hopefully Gomez injury isn't too bad, and at least we won't have more games to play. Onto the next game.

The only benefit here as opposed to then is that it's not the first team being dragged by united.

You can have Messi Suarez and Neymar as your forward line, if you’ve got Nyoni Mcconnell Harvey Mabaya Quansah etc behind them, they’re not seeing the ball unless they’re dropping deep and essentially putting more strain to beat 3-4 players AND score, it just doesn’t happen.

I get it, too many changes and you impact fluidity and we were up against a team hyped up that fought for everything, but… fuck me… absolutely sleep walking through a game is unforgivable.
We lost it in midfield - just couldn’t get control.

That's a reaction 5 mins after the match. This game will have zero affect on the 1st team - absolutely zero. And when we beat Everton to go 9 points clear Arsenal will be the ones with massive pressure on them, one further slip from them and it's already done.
Fingers crossed. Everton are looking alright, and will be up for it, and this would add more fuel to the flames. We need an early goal to shut their fans up
