Just got back from a 3 day business trip there. For any of you golfers, this was quite the place. Didn't get to play the famed #2, but shot an 82 on #1. Not great by any stretch but good for this casual golfer.
The club house walls were covered with incredible pictures of Opens past and all the greats who played them. For someone interested by this stuff it was pretty heady.
I'm sure many here have played some impressive courses. What's the nicest/most famous? Any good stories?
