so we'd have two fullbacks who are superb at going forwards but no where near as good defensively. You'd have to hope the CM midfielders would be up for the task. it would certainly kill our width problems dead though.

of course if given the choice he wouldn't be the first position we addressed but if he was available i'd want us to bring him in if we could.
i really see a change in our formation coming to either a 433 or a 4132. quality fullbacks are essential if we are to successfully play either of these formations.
