Jesus wept. Lahm really? To solve what?
You want us to spend millions on a defender when it's our midfield/attack thats has suffered from injuries.
Personally I'd go for one of the following.
1. Aguero
2. Villa
3. Lavezzi

Hypothetical and all, but it's still reasonable to suggest we need a left back. Obviously we have priorities but if a good player is available and an improvement on an area of the team that's suffering, then we'd be stupid not to pursue that opportunity.
 
Didn't say anything about spending millions just I'd have him in our side. He's an excellent left back and better than what we have now. That's not taking away from the deficiencies in other parts of our team at all.

To solve what? To solve this rather obvious problem: that we don't have one quality LB at the club.

Not sure the answer is Lahm, but LFC need a LB, and we need one quick.

As has been said we need a striker first and foremost, but if he was available I would take him without a seconds thought

Apart from other areas of the team that need strengthening, I can't understand why anyone would say no to Lahm Vlad.

This is blatant rubbish, obviously. If he came here he wouldn't to get into the top 3 LBs in the Premiership.

But he's still about a gazillion times better than fucking Insua, or Drosenna, or Aurelio.
 
I've not seen him play for Bayern in forever, but in the last major tournament he was atrocious for Germany. That really surprised me.

Was that just a blip?

I suggested this once before and someone quite rightly pointed out that he is tiny, considering that we are currently shit at set pieces I don't think he is the answer.

I'm suprised you think that as he got voted in the team of the tournament in the WC 2006 and Euro 2008 Keni.

Clichy, Evra and Cole are all better than Lahm.

Lahm is even more suspect defensively than Clichy. He also keeps moaning that he wants to play on the right. Where we already have Magic.

I just remember watching a couple of games where he was getting caught out time and time again.
