Our penalty taking was a fucking shambles last year and Gerrard aside (who will miss half the season injured) we dont have anyone I trust now Dirk has gone.
We need to sign a penalty taker or else we need to finally allow Wonderman to take them.

Yeah, Agger can crack a shot, I'd imagine it'd be Berger-esque. Johnson is a good penalty taker by all accounts, Gerrard, maybe Borini (I honestly don't know) and surely the Brazilian has it in his DNA?

Even Dirk was bitten by the bug last year mate (I think he missed twice - once against Arsenal & once against Everton). Then again, even 'set piece expert' Chaz Adams missed (Wigan, Carling Cup final?)

Well there isnt a rule against it. But its pretty fucking retarded given the ball can stay in play. If the keeper misses.
