You're making a big assumption that her plane crashes into the channel. I'm more inclined to think it will get hijacked, redirected to Italy, and ultimately nose dive into Vesuvius

While we are on the subject of horrific plane crashes, why do you still get the demo on how to use a life jacket on internal US flights that go nowhere near oceans? Do they instruct pilots to steer the plane towards a river, pond or lake as they are nose diving to oblivion?
Good point, no idea, maybe in case the pilot has to veer off course…remember that one who sucessfully landed a plane on water that was USA ..I loved that movie …can’t remember what it was called. Big court case after he landed that too…captain something or other …🙂

I was in NYC on that day - everyone just went crazy when people realized what happened. I recommend rewatching that movie before your flight - it might calm you down!
