I know it was the Championship and I know it was only one game but surely Pacheco is good enough to be playing premier league football. We should have loaned him out all year, just like Cleverly and Wellbeck have been. If Norwich go up he should spend the year with them next year and get games under his belt.

Can he be any worse than Maxi as a sub option for us? Very odd that Kenny has used him more as he is very quick to place his confidence in our younger players.
Bahahahaha - I completely forgot Maxi played for us.

What a fucking non-entity he really is.

The problem I have is not that he is being loaned out now, in fact its a good thing. its that I still feel he has never been given a proper chance at breaking through for us in one of his best positions.

You can only presume that Pacheco has a bit of an attitude and it a lazy trainer.

He fell out with Riera and has showed up late before. Kenny is keen to give youth a chance to shine, but only if they knuckle down and work for it.

If he cannot force his way into our current squad then you have to say the chances are he never will. Not unless something dramatic happens anyway.
And I find it a worry if that was the case because of how he went about his business in training because there are a fair few cocky brilliant players who I imagine don't put as much effort into training as the professional types. And when it comes to production on the field what did Maxi or Cole or Aurelio (in midfield) or Jonjo (as much as I like him and when he plays) offer that Pacheco doesn't. In general I assume its tactical nous because I can't for life of me understand how you let this kid who can clearly finish, because that doesn't change much in any game, and thrives in tight spaces, like dare I say it any Barcelona player and take quality freekicks. I hope he come back and we play him at least as sub to throw on for a goal, unless we get 2 or 3 class attacking players this summer. I can just see him relishing Carroll knockdowns.

Shame, would love to see him play for the first team ahead of Ngog but pity on him sitting on the bench under three fucking managers and not playing is hard.

The question is, why is he not playing? Even under King Kenny who is known for giving youth a chance. Is he too lightweight? Is he not training well? Did he shag one of our players wife or girlfriend?
WHY?

Playing for Norwich isn't going to do him any good. More playing time maybe but shit else.

So i predict we will sell him this summer.

Do you genuinely believe we went for Cole over Aquilani purely because one was English and the other wasn't?
Might be a bit strong but he was definitely shafted because of Cole.
Errr, didn't Cole come because we sold Yossi?

From twatter:

@drbollockchops im back to liverpool on wednesday, after the periode here tomorrow. and ye, im allow to play vs spurs and villa

You think Dalglish will have him on the bench instead of Cole or Ngog?

Ha, he's never gonna live that down.

Just wanted to say that I'd love to see Pacheco play for us again before the season ends.

Wonder how he and Suarez will do together on the pitch?

A spot might be opening up for him with Meireles injured but I hope he's fine.
The fact that he was starting matches from the bench with Norwich doesn't seem to indicate that he is ready to play for a team right at the top of the Premiership.

Maybe another loan deal with Norwich?

He may not have played all that many but he's still made a big impression here.

maybe, but depending if we shift joe cole he might be needed to come and play in the last few minutes of games.

I would love pacheco to go out on loan at a premier league side for a year, hopefully coming back stronger

Dani Pacheco is confident Norwich City’s promotion winners have what it takes to compete in the Premier League next season – and he may even be tempted to join them.

The on-loan Liverpool star pocketed two goals in six appearances as the Canaries completed back-to-back promotions to book their return to English football’s elite group after a six-year absence.

And, although Pacheco is expecting to be a Liverpool player next season, the Spanish Under-21 international would be open to a Carrow Road return should the chance come along.

“Well we don’t know yet what will happen next season, I think it’s too early to know,†admitted the personable ?20-year-old during Tuesday’s civic celebrations. “Liverpool are still playing in the season and we are still celebrating down here, so I will go back and then see what happens. For next season, we don’t really know yet.

“But it’s great for me, it’s a nice feeling and I appreciate the way the Norwich fans want me to come back next season.

“And if I don’t get any chances at Liverpool or if they think that the best thing for me is to go out on loan, I will definitely be more than happy to come down here again.â€

Pacheco added: “Definitely I think these lads deserve to be where they are. They did brilliantly all season and last year, they definitely deserve to be in the Premier League and definitely they are good enough.â€

The former Barcelona forward made an immediate impact at Carrow Road after joining at the end of March, with a sumptuous display on his debut – City’s 6-0 home win over Scunthorpe United – before the fifth goal at Ipswich and Norwich’s second in the final day draw at home to Coventry rounded off nicely his impressive spell in Norfolk.

“It’s been amazing; we won almost every game and the fans have been amazing – I have really enjoyed it with the lads,†said Pacheco.

“They have been brilliant. They have been phoning me all the time, trying to make things easy for me and I just can’t say thank you enough to everybody because since I came they have treated me really, really well and it has been a really nice experience for me to be here with all of them.

“They have made everything easy – the players, the staff, everybody at the club. I came on the first day, we won 6-0 and that probably helped. We played really well and we got confidence.â€

Five substitute appearances in the Premier League plus a combined trio of starts in the Europa League and Carling Cup are all Pacheco has from his first two seasons at Anfield – and it remains to be seen whether there will be more opportunities under Kenny Dalglish’s revitalised side next season.

But for now the Malaga-born striker was happy to reflect on the first meaningful action – and success – of his professional career.

“I came quite young to England and I have been in many academies but this is really the first time I have been with a first team and as a first experience it couldn’t be better,†added Pacheco.

“We were second in the league, we got promoted to the Premier League and to have that experience with Norwich has been amazing for me and great for me.â€

If no Norwich return is forthcoming, at least supporters will be able to follow his progress on Twitter – in the same way he has given glimpses from behind the scenes of the Canaries’ promotion charge over recent weeks.

“We try to get closer to the fans and they appreciate i wherever we are, so hopefully I’ll continue doing that on Twitter,†said Pacheco – or to go by his Twitter username, @dani37pacheco

What an exciting alternative!

Liverpool striker Daniel Pacheco is ready for another loan after helping Norwich win promotion last season.

The Spanish hitman, 20, played a key role as the Canaries won a place in the Premier League during his temporary stint at Carrow Road.

And with international stars Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll ahead of him in the pecking order at the Reds, he accepts his career will progress more quickly if he spends time away from Anfield.

He said: “My dream is to play here at Liverpool.

“But if the club think the best thing for me at my age is to go out somewhere on loan, then maybe I will do that.’’

Having signed 2 strikers already, doubt Norwich will be taking him on loan. Perhaps a season-loan to Ipswich as part of Wickham's deal?

I think it's a bit too early, let's see what he can do in Spain first.

Widely reported about to sign on loan with Rayo Vallecano (newly promoted to La Liga) today.

...but Marca claiming he has signed permanently for Atletico Madrid who have then immediately loaned him to Rayo?

Anyone heard anything?

Liverpool has given Dani Pacheco Atletico Madrid. The rojiblancos in turn yield to Rayo Vallecano but keep an option. The U20 international on a three-way operation in the overall play this season Sandoval.

Before his move to Liverpool, Pacheco earned a reputation as a young star in Barcelona's youth ranks thanks to his scoring. The Andalusian debut for Liverpool reserves on February 5, 2008 in a match against Bolton Wanderers.

Not the first case in which Atletico Madrid to sign a player and transferred to another team this season.
