That's just super. So much for all the talk of us never dealing with him again.

This is a really good signing.
We need squad depth, he can play at CM, AM, WF and FB, hes cheap (considering todays prices) a tidy player and on a 5 year deal will instantly go from being worth £35m today to £60m tomorrow.
Hes a Liverpool fan, hes fucking RAPID, and he turned down the Russians rubles.

Hes not a fire in the park signing and lets get real if we dont get Lemar and VVD we will still have had a disappointing window, but a very good young player for a reasonable fee, makes great sense.

Yesterday - agree deal for £40m with Chelsea

Today - agree deal with us for £35m

Good work Arsenal ...

I've got a funny Alan Kennedy story.

Time to bump this up. 😀

[article]“Definitely,” he told the Arsenal matchday programme.

“I want to be someone that first and foremost does their defensive job and does what the team requires in terms of being a solid midfielder who can get the ball, keep the ball moving and put the ball into areas for players like Alexis, Theo, Danny or Olivier going in behind.

“But I can definitely add that part of the game, where I pick the ball up deep and drive past players and open things up.

“In a funny way I find it a lot easier to do that in central midfield, maybe because the players aren’t as quick there.” [/article]
[article]Only Sadio Mané (2.5) and Philippe Coutinho (2.3) completed more dribbles than Oxlade-Chamberlain (2.1) last season. [/article]

Looks like he is thriving in the wing back roles.

Perhaps partly due to the no. of mins he played

That just makes it even better.
We can pay the Solanke tribunal fee with money we didnt spend getting a player those classless cunts really wanted.
You couldnt fucking write it.

This is a big and crucial move for him - showed so much promise earlier on in his career. Already looks like a sensible lad for picking us & Klopp over Chelsea (given their managerial instability).

His Management Company just tweeted "Deal Agreed!!! #Liverpool #YNWA #Colossal" with a pic of the LFC logo. Done deal.

EDIT: They they deleted it. I have a screenshot - will work out how to post it

Im dead chuffed about this one.
I do get the concerns in that he hasnt truly lived up to his promise, but unlike say Dele Alli he has been rotated in and out of rhe side. And we have undoubtably seen glimpses of a really good player.
This is one I really trust Klopp on. If you look at what Klopp has done with Lallana, Can and Mane bringing their game on so much you just have to say fair play and trust the man will bring out the player we had all the hype about 4 years ago. At 22 there is plenty of time.

And its so so soooo fucking good he jibbed Chelsea. The fucking champions by the way.

Hes already become a favourite for me.
Oh and he WAS on the list a few years back.
Wenger got him culled the fucking beakers grandad looking motherfucker.
