Our new back up striker?

I'm not in favour of this at all, actually.

I can fully understand if Hodgson splashes some cash to land a quality striker; but if we're looking at some young up-and-coming striker, well...we've some those already..

If you're talking of N'gog, Toivonen is way better than him. He's hardly an inexperienced newbie, if that's what you're thinking. He's 24, and already a starter for the Swedish national side and has been banging in the goals for PSV. His attributes are also exactly the kind we're looking for. I don't see what's not to like. For the right price, he could be a great bargain.

I was thinking more of Pacheco and Nemeth, but N,gog too perhaps..

I've no idea if he's good, in fairness..as I've never seen him pay..

The issue of course is whether he's any better than all the 3 players above..coz if he isnt this deal wouldnt make sense.

I´d say yes, he is better than them at the moment. But good enough? I doubt it but he´s still progressing alot!

My guess is that we probably won´t sign him (if he plays).

The way Hodgson has been talking in the last couple of days I'd say that we'll have two more arrivals regardless and three if Masher goes.
