Many have said the Sunday gone was our best performance to date. Would you agree? Personally I think our away game to Tottenham has been our best game where we put 5 past them.

I didn't see either game against Spurs live, but I watched them afterwards and the away game was definitely the better performance. But for me, the Arsenal game, or the away at Man Utd were better. Just how completely average we made both teams look when we've had too many poor performances against them in recent years. Very impressive performances.

The first 45 against arsenal , the whole 90 against Utd.

The Utd game it all came together perfectly - Rodgers absolutely smashed the tactics and strategy and the players each bossed their counterparts for 90 minutes, that and he fact it was Utd .... At Old Trafford !

Yeah the fact that it was Utd at Old Trafford and we barely got out of second gear and dicked all over them was most satisfactory for me.

United away or Spurs at home. The Spurs game shades it for me a little, given the magnitude of the game and all of the additional pressure and expectations that was/were heaped upon us for that match...

Sturridge said recently that it was the spurs game before Christmas that started this run and gave the club the belief that top four and beyond was there for the taking.

That opening against Arsenal was incredible and probably, no certainly, was the best football we've played in many years at home. But going away to grounds we've struggled on showed the flip in attitude of Rodger's side. He talked about Anfield being ours, that we own that pitch– and we have, for the most part, done so. Owning White Hart Lane and owning Old Trafford– that's something I can't remember us ever doing in the way we did this season. Yes the 4-1 under Rafa was great, but that game was on a knife-edge for much of the game. We strangled them both in front of their own fans. Beautiful.

First 20 minutes at home to Arsenal.

Thread's over.

Same here.

It's the type of game you always expect to see when a top team in the Prem gets drawn against a conference side or some shit in the one of the cups but never actually get. We were just on a different level.

Spurs away was wonderfully accomplished, but the Arsenal game has to be the one just because how we absolutely destroyed them in 20 minutes. That is genuinely the best I've ever seen a Liverpool side play, so that makes it the clear choice. We were awesome.

Spurs away was outstanding but, while we never looked really threatened, we were in a match for the first 60 or so - think it was 2 nil at that point.

First 20 minutes against Arsenal was, as said, breathtaking. Shredded them everywhere and it genuinely could have been more. There after we drew 1-1 so I can't say it's our best game.

We never really looked sexy against the mancs at OT but I cannot remember dominating them like that in the last 30 years at theirs. We've beaten them - sure. But we just destroyed them without every really seemingly going for it. We were just so superior in every way - allowed them, I think, 1 shot on target. It was just consummate.

I'll also say that our game away to City was a great performance and, I think, opened the eyes of many in the team. Here was a side who were putting plenty past everyone and we matched them at theirs in every department. With a little more confidence we could even have taken it and I think that's when our players thought "there's nobody in this league we need to be afraid of".

Worst Performance: Arsenal away. Looked toothless, no Sturridge and we seemed in awe of them. Hasn't happened again all season.

Agree on the Arsenal game, that 20 mins was a dream, if we had stuck another 3 or 4 past them then it would be no contest but we pretty much just played the game out with ease on auto pilot, similar goes for the Everton game.

Still gutted about that Suarez shot that hit the post.

OT - it was the best result of the season for sure but performance?, i really don't think we played that well which probably sounds quite mad but we have played much better games than that this season, we played better at City and lost.

Don't take it the wrong way, not trying to do it down at all but all we had to do was turn up for that game, they were so bad and beaten before the ball was kicked.

Spurs away was a really big game for us at the time and the catalyst for where we are now imo, this is the game and performance that gave the team real belief, it was a 'look at us and what we can do' statement, we were without our captain but we turned up there and ruined them playing some great stuff, just dominated and made mugs of them from start to finish, if it wasn't for the crazy shit Suarez does then Hendersons performance in that game would be the individual performance of the season, imo of course.

No one game stands out to be fair as we've been playing the best footy I can remember since Kenny's 88-89 team but these games have been my favourites

1) Arsenal at home, they hadn't conceded more than a goal in a game in how long ? Were in top form and we just swept them aside like the pretenders they are
2 ) Spurs away,No Stevie G,No Sturridge and bet them 5 nil leading to AVB getting the bullet happy days 🙂 Loved Suarez passing to Sterling while on a hat trick and chance to have got record of top scorer before christmas as it showed both his new found maturity and the team spirit Rodgers was instilling
3 ) Everton at home 4-nil and cruising, completely knocked the wind out of their sails ( Barry taking out Lukaku was the icing on the cake )
4 ) United away,I'd usually have this top historically speaking but as good as we were ( 3rd gear tops ) This United side are a shadow of themselves where as all the other teams were in relatively good form going into fixtures and we trashed them

Honourable mentions to City game away Sterling was never offside and if goal stood felt we would have won it ,Stoke away ( showed new ability to turn things around ) and the recent Fulham away game for the same reason as Stoke

Loving this season in case it doesn't show in my rantings

City at Anfield. Totally neutralized them with that mad hustling midfield and sucker punched them three times, without reply. Silva and Nasri posed some threat, but Flanagan and Johnson played out of their skin with Sterling working overtime providing cover. That was, what, 2 saves that Mig needed to make?

And that was bettered by the football lesson Rodgers gave Mourinho at Anfield. Suarez made Terry look like an amateur all day, while Sturridge actually properly celebrated scoring twice against an old club. Hazard looked totally devastated by the time we were done running the knife through them in all directions; I think he'd never seen his team so cut up before. Come park the effing bus with 200 to 300 million worth of goods, will ya? Ha!

.... then the crystal ball faded out. I forgot to charge it enough again.

Arsenal at home. I was watching it with my girlfriend's Arsenal ST holder uncle who was less than amused - I think he aged about 3 years during that first half and his level of expletives against Arteta during that game reminded me of our match threads in the Dalglish days towards Downing!

I think Arsenal at home. I was in disbelief at it. Although the players naturally took their feet off the pedal a bit towards the end of the first half.

United at old toilet was great but united are shit.

Chelsea at home will be the best win cos they're the hardest team to beat

Arsenal 5-1 for me though. We were behind them and now we're flying high above them and we fucking battered them. Unreal
