Only Chelsea, united, city and arsenal have scored more than Blackburn this season and Bolton only team to let more in... According to collymore. Maybe needs a defender or two and they should be ok really
They have actually only scored 4 more than us.. Spurs are another who have scored more than them...

Who'd have thought it

4 points for B'burn away to Liverpool and United
Hope Kean gets a bit more respect and support. Still not convinced with him as a manager but the man deserves better. This, achieved with 7+ senior players out and today's result with their youngest average age squad is commendable too.
In principle I don't agree with the bolded bit. The media were saying the same when we were lambasting Hodgson, and I didn't buy it then either. When results are as bad as they were then, or as they have been up till now for Kean, the fans have every right to make a fuss IMO. However, today's certainly thrown a honking great tiger among those poor pigeons.

And yeah, happy birthday Ferguson, you crooked old bully. ;D

That draw we got on Boxing Day doesn't look so bad now, eh?
Yes, it does. We drew at home against the worst team in the league.

I get your point, JJ but can't help to think the manner of Big Sam's exit and Venky's contribution since taking over added extra pressure and hatred on Kean.

Re: Other games todays

1-1

villa equalise - Agbonlahor feeds Ireland who's shot is blocked by Terry but Ireland megs him with the rebound.

Re: Other games todays

Brilliant, let's hope Villa can hold out and that Swansea can keep Spurs at bay.

Who just beat Utd, who are sitting in second, at home mere days later.

Re: Other games todays

Just switched over to the chav game, the Arsenal is shite.

They've had about 90% possession & are playing EVERYTHING through RVP up top. YAWN.

I don't think the comparison is a valid one. The extension of that is to say we're better than Utd because we drew with Blackburn and they lost.

I do agree however it makes our result all the more frustrating.

I'm not trying to say that at all, simply that it makes that frustrating result a little less frustrating, cos they've obv found some form or confidence.

I know it's not what you're saying and that's exactly why I don't think the comparison is valid.

Also can't agree that the Utd result makes our less frustrating. As it stands, we've gained 1 point on Utd from these games when it should have been 3. Anyhoo...

Re: Other games todays

Good things come in pair. Swansea 1-1 Spurs

Scott Sinclair with the goal.

Re: Other games todays

Wow, McLeish will be pleased. Should appease some fans.

Darren Bent with the goal.

10 men Wigan equalizes at Stoke. 2-2.
