So our draw wasn't too shabby against Sunderland 😉
yes it was

Seeing it again, if that was against us I'd be fuming. Offside all the way.

Still, gotta laugh.

Fuck me. Mancini should have learnt from Fergies fuck up.

Neither team has been that string at the back that they can guarantee results with a second string side.

Still, I'm glad simply cos it'll give us confidence ahead of Tuesday. I dont care about Utd winning, that ship sailed years ago, I want every team to drop points who is above us & around us, simple as that.

Back to the old discussion of where would we be if had beat Blackburn, Wigan, Swansea, Norwich, Sunderland etc.

Cue Sky Sports spunking all over the genius of MoN
Picked up 10 pts from 5 matches, considering they only had 11 from 14 matches prior to his arrival, is indeed a brilliant return for MON.
13th with a positive goal difference and only 3pts behind Everton in 9th. Not so bad I guess.
Will be a little ironic if he finishes the season above Aston Villa. Still a long way to go though, but without any signings, making do with existing resources, a case of so far so good.

And with that in mind this round was one of the best ever..

Ha, just saw Roy Hodgson banging his head in the advertising boards after Everton scored.

Well chuffed they lost.

Now lets see what happens on Tues - win and we'll believe we can get the title. Lose and we're never gonna get fourth. Draw and we'll probably be cursing our shit finishing.

Can understand with Mancini's thinking given that their next 3 games in twice vs. us and vs. Man Utd. Alas, one would've thought that getting points in the bag, especially after Utd's result yesterday, would've been a wiser choice. Take nothing away from Sunderland and the crowd though.

Yeah Binny, but their subs bench is like any other teams first choice players ....

Fergie did the biggest fuck up, banning Rooney for going on a night out and dropping 3 home points ...

I'm hearing that Fergie dropped Rooney for yesterday's game because he was out with Colleen on Boxing Day night.

That worked out well for him, didn't it ?

Yeah, Asbo, they do have impressive strength in depth but as mentioned in the other Man city match thread, having dropped 2 points in the previous match and stopped from scoring for only the 2nd time in the yr, I wouldn't go on to leave out 3 players who've contributed 3/4 of the league goals, all at the same time, baring in mind one of the starting 11 striker is having a mini goal drought.

Spurs will be 3 points behind the joint leaders if they win their game in hand. Harry's title challenge talk might be sane afterall. 😱

Everton will win. Anichebe is on fire. *cough cough*

For anyone interested, a Blackburn, Villa, Sunderland treble to win this weekend was odds of 2365/1
