To be fair, he had a terrible knee injury that kept him out for a year. That can really fuck with a young player.

I guess this is the true cost of Origi not leaving. If we had sold him last year or the year before, we could have bought someone like Martinelli, Doku, Jonathan David and have Klopp coaching him for a year or two.

Strictly speaking the Man City one was the only one on goal difference I think. 1989 was goals scored, as the goal difference was the same.

I think there were a few times in the 50s or 60s when the top two were level on points but it was goals average back then.
