Get him elsewhere, pronto. But I don't like the insistence on a buying clause. It suggests that we have no belief whatsoever that he might impress enough on loan to make him appealing to any other club. If I was Dortmund that would make me very doubtful about the whole deal, and certainly I wouldn't want to pay much at all in those circumstances. I'd rather gamble on loaning him and hoping he does well enough to attract a decent bid.

He was really motoring until that animal Funes Mori crocked him in the derby game, but has never been the same since. My sense of things is that he needs a new club in order to fulfil what potential he does have.
