Open acts of homosexuality

There doesnt 'have to be' Marq, but i dont believe the www.utopianfootieforum.com exists.
People will be abusive at times, its human nature.
Personally i dont get offended by anything anyone says, and i dont get why anyone would.

Yet everyone was offended by Ali's post? Hmm, slight contradiction.

a little story i think i should share with you. Went to drop someone off at a busy station today, and on my way back just outside the sation, something caught my eye, two guys hugging and kissing and that. if this had happened a few days ago, i would have probably thought 'queers' or something similar. But anyway, i just looked at tehm for a few seconds (if they would have seen, they would ahve probably thought i wanted in on the action), so, so me being me and after what happened in this thread, i went to them and asked them

"why they are with each other?" obviously not this blatant, but after talking to them for a while, saying i was studying the way people act towards and with each other.the answer that he gave me, has changed the way i feel towards gays for good.

He replied " do you have a girlfriend?" to which i replied "yes", and then he asked

"why are you with her?" i said that "she made me happy" he mumbled and... i added " everytime i leave her, i cant wait to see her next and just hearing her voice makes me smile" he replied,

everything you just said, replace her and she with him and he and thats how we feel about each other, I realised that why should i judge people on who or what makes them happy. So i just wanted to thank you lot for correcting me in my wrong ways, cos if this happened a few days ago, i certainly would have never approached them and get to know why they are together.

Thanks.

You talked to some bummers? You've probably got the Bad AIDS now, Ali.

I wasnt offended by it Anita.
Hmmm no contradiction.

It seemed to offend you enough for you to call him a C*** and all sorts of other names.

*confused*

It didnt offend me Anita. But then im not gay.
I think hating gays is cuntish, but in the grand scheme of things its not that big a deal no.
I am sorry all this is confusing you.

And this had never occurred to you before in 20 years of living in cosmopolitan London? Fucking hell.

Still, happy ever after and all that.

I'm sure you'll discover your 'true' sexuality one day Ali...

I think this is a historic moment, because it is probably the first time that anyone has ever changed their opinion as a result of a messageboard discussion.

Well done Ali

🙂

So surely that would mean you find the viewpoint offensive? Hence why you think it's c***ish?

And I don't have to be black to find the word n****r offensive.

I dunno if it's just Anita mate... some of your posts in this thread have me confused too.

Yes i think it is offensive Anita. But (again) it doesnt offend me.

My point is simply that i dont get how anyone could give a shit what a random thinks of them.
Do you care what i or anyone think of you?

Are you though? Are you a bummer tied to a tree? TELL ME!
[/quote]

Are you a balding, overweight racist who is tied to a tree?

Tell me...

I mean I know the answers to the first 3 questions but I dont know whether your tied to a tree!

So come on tell me

Evidently not enough to not say what I really think.

Just because you aren't easily offended doesn't mean that everyone else feels the same way.
The internet offers an unprecedented amount of anonymity and allows people to make statements that they would be unlikely to make face to face. I just don't see why this should be thought of as OK, it is still a method of communication after all.

Not that I really care about all of this, I've just had to much cuervo and am in an argumentative mood.

In short: obviously not, otherwise I'd just follow like a sheep rather than go against the majority and say what I really think.

I asked a black mate in uni why rappers/blacks can use the word and it's ok and I can't ... It was in a multiculturalism class and it was really interesting to see how he said that although he understood it was a way to 'reclaim'/'destroy' the word, it was wrong to use it ...

I dont agree with abuse Marquis obviously, and i probably have a more lax view of what abuse is. But the major point would be that i wouldnt know where to begin measuring it. What you may find abusive will differ from what i do.

I have this conversation daily with young Black and Asian kids we work with about the use of both the P and N word. I think the idea if 'RE'-claiming a word that was never self prescribed is absurd. Both of those labels were given to each respective community as a derogatory term and then used for years as a tool of oppression. Anyone who thinks they can 're-claim' it fails to acknowledge the baggage and history attached to the terms, and is demonstrates a grave lack of respect for ancestors what had to endure the word in a very different context.

Hmm, I am neither balding, nor overweight, nor indeed a racist. I am intrigued as to why you would think that I am any of those three things.
Is it because you secretly hope I am fat, have no hair and am a member of the KKK?

Does it turn you on? Do you want to picture me while wanking yourself off over cartoon drawings of Mohammed?

But more importantly, how is it fair that this cunt can call me names like this?

I WANT HIM BANNED.

I'm getting a persecution complex. All Muzzies on this site appear to have it in for me.
I thought you were all peaceful and forgiving people, like what it says in your magic book.

I seem to get along with all creeds and races, but only you beardies have a problem with me. I'm going to become Jewish. Then you can really hate me for real.

i agree with you ... it's like that band from LA who uses the word k*ke (they're Jewish) and I struggle with it, though I've used the word with friends in Israel joking about things ...
