Yeah, I agree and if he gets it he will probably resign due to some mental shit anyway after a year or thereabouts.

Just seen it. Wow... they could end up with no points in that stretch, and it wouldn't surprise me:

Chelsea v Sunderland
Newcastle v Sunderland
Sunderland v Everton
Aston Villa v Sunderland
Sunderland v Stoke City
Sunderland v Southampton
Tottenham v Sunderland

Most likely 3 to 6 points I suppose.

Yea there's at least 4/5 of those I'd expect anyone to struggle with.

On a different note didn't that dick Adrian Durham from Talksport say he thought QPR would finish higher than Tottenham under AVB, good prediction that was...

David Miliband leaves Sunderland board in wake of Di Canio hire: "in light of his past political statements I think it right to step down”

...and the cherry-picking for Sunderland's Championship-bound assets commences....I'd have Mignolet. One of the top 3 'keepers in the league in my opinion and playing behind anyone other than Bramble next season, he'll think he's invincible.

Compare to the Villa:

Stoke(A)
Fulham (H)
Man Utd(A)
Sunderland (H)
Norwich(A)
Chelsea (H)
Wigan(A)

I think Villa's look a bit more manageable; Wigan and Norwich present chances for wins, and Fulham can be brilliant or shit depending on the week. That game between Villa and Sunderland will be huge.

Mignolet's a decent shout. From what I've seen I'd certainly prefer him to Begovic, whom others have talked up on here before now.
