Instead of getting his head up he he tried to lash one in from a ridiculous position and it dribbled about 10 yards wide. He's genuinely got some of the worst decision making I've seen in a top level player.

Mane built up a lot of credit though. Nunez has yet to do that.

Mo's might have been a pass to the back post that went wrong. Or a daft effort. Either way, you could see some sense in it.

If he had actually controlled the ball better with his first touch he would have had time to do more. He sold his shot and was easy for the keeper

People may say "well all he had to do was toe-poke it over the line" however as I've boringly mentioned numerous times, he has that striker's instinct of being in the right place at the right time and that's why more than 50% of his goals in Portugal were from within the 6 yd box. We've missed that.
