I actually feel sorry for Norwich and Chris Houghton - half time team talk "right lads, jsut stop Suarez from shooting in our half and we'll be sound"

In their half? Bit presumptuous that, I'd have money on him scoring from anywhere in this form.

I want to take the piss out of one poster, but I won't, as I didn't watch the 1st half (pplaying footy in the autumn rain).

Great response it seems ... but besides the Suarez fan, are we playing well? Is the defense holding up ok?

Bit sloppy at the back, Skrtel had a mad 5 minutes, Allen was put under pressure by him unnecessarily and ended up getting booked, Allen has done ok (though he gave the ball away in exactly the sort of style talked about earlier in the thread, but got away with it). Typical stuff elsewhere, good support play from Johnson, Hendo getting about but fluffing opportunities, Gerrard spreading the passes, Sterling hit and miss, Flanno solid as a rock, Agger had a few moments earlier getting caught under the ball but has been solid and cleared the lines well.

Coutinho and Suarez have been something else, not that I'd put Coutinho on a par with what is a truly mesmerising performance from Luis.

I'd say that was a spot on assessment.

You obviously can't defend against what suarez has done to you, but I find it staggering that Norwich are allowing Coutinho to continually roam free in the #10 role.

I'd agree with all of that except the bit about Flanno, call it an agenda or whatever but the best chance Norwich had in the first half was because he lost the player he was supposed to mark.

Agger being dominated by a powerful attacker. Isn't that what Rodgers was talking about earlier?

Whoever it was who pulled you away from the match, wait until they're watching ice skating with a puck or fat men running into each other with armour on & interrupt it, making them miss half the game.

It was literally right as the ball went in the second time. I came back and thought I was misreading the stats on the NBC app.
