The BCS bowl situation was all but locked up. Should look like this -
Rose: Wisconsin (Big Ten champ) vs Stanford (Pac-12 champ)
Orange: Florida State (ACC champ) vs Louisville (Big East champ)
Sugar: Florida (at-large) vs Oklahoma (BCS at-large)
Fiesta: Kansas State (Big 12 champ) vs Oregon (BCS at-large)
BCS championship: Notre Dame (#1) vs Alabama (#2)
The only change I could see happening, depending on the final rankings, is if Northern Illinois or Boise somehow get into the top 16. They'll be ranked above Louisville, so will earn an automatic at-large spot as as BCS buster because they both won at least a share of their own conferences. That would be at the expense of Oklahoma. But they're ranked #20 and #21 right now, and voters do funny things when shit becomes borderline. If Kent State had beaten NIU then they definitely would have got a place (as they were ranked #17 already), but as it is it's touch and go.
Obviously Kent State will fall, and UCLA too after Stanford beat them for the PAC-12. Kansas State torched Texas too, so the Longhorns will fall. But at best that would put either Boise or NIU (probably NIU as they beat Kent State) at #17, one place shy. At that point we have to see what happens with Nebraska. They'd have to fall the best part of ten places, but the fact that Wisconsin ran up 70 on them (the score was worse than the actual performance as Wisconsin got out ahead really quickly - but some voters might not have seen the actual game) could cost them big time. Michigan were inactive this week, so it's possible Boise and NIU could jump them too.
I can see a situation where Texas, Michigan, and Kent State fall out of the picture, but Nebraska and UCLA are kept just above the non-AQ teams, ranking NIU at #17 and Boise at #18, saving Oklahoma's bacon.
