I really rate Adorjan

EDIT: I posted that 2 seconds before he missed an open net.
 
What a shame we were such a bag of nerves in the first half. It would've been a great contest if we'd performed for the full 90, even so we were desperately unlucky not to get at least a goal back and make a contest of it. Plus points for me would be sterling, wisdom, and ngoo and morgan, who are both quicker than I realised. Despite the scoreline we actually did really well after the break.

Spot on. I don't see any real signs of quality in Shelvey's game. I'd be surprised if he makes it with us or another top side in the Premier League.

Agreed all I can see is a Championship player and a standard one at that.
 
Liverpool will face Tottenham in the last eight of the NextGen Series after they were confirmed as Group 4 winners on Thursday afternoon.

The Londoners secured a 1-1 draw away to Inter Milan to clinch top spot and set up a home encounter against Rodolfo Borrell's youngsters.

Quarter-final line-up:

Barcelona v Ajax
Aston Villa v Marseille
Tottenham v Liverpool
Sporting Lisbon v Inter Milan or FC Base
