I like having a little bit of contrast on our home kits, so the green is fine by me. The rest of the design is nice and simple.

I like it be a proper red, personally. A couple we've had recently have bordered on the maroon. We're not AS Roma.
So for me this is an improvement just on that score.

Yeah, I remember that, sort of. I just don't ever see the point of adding any other colour to our home kit. It doesn't need it.
Those mannequins are really strange too, which made me wonder.
It doesn't need the green but personally I think it looks nice. It doesn't seem much different than having a yellow liverbird, say.
Yeah, but yellow is a more established "third" Liverpool colour after red and white.
Green, blue, turquoise, purple etc can fuck off on the home kit. And I still prefer a v-neck, but anyway.
I thought green was the more established “third colour”? It’s prominent in the emblem and there were quite a few green or white and green kits over the years.
Personally I like the red and green combination. Christmas-y!
Makes us look like we're doing a nod to Puskas or something. The green doesn't match red at all and weve never done it, but it is a clear talking point to get everyone going on about Nike and our new kit and I guess that's what they need

Yeah, which was only added because Carlsberg wanted green on the kit & we were desperate to get/keep their sponsorship at the time so agreed.
Liverpool kits have traditionally been all red since Shankly first decided to go all red, if there was any third colour used other than white, it was yellow, NOT green.
I would really like that kit if it were the same without the green, but having a traditional yellow away kit would be boss, sadly Nike have done neither.
Also, I really don't like the stick on badge either. Plus that's a weird choice from Nike, it's like they're trying to make it easier for counterfeiting, the embroidery is the bit they can never get right.
