That's interesting, though I can't see the Celts passing up on Fultz. Boston could use help in their backcourt and also an insurance against losing Thomas in free agency next year. It's hard to see the Lakers not taking Lonzo Ball too. Jackson cancelling the Boston workout perhaps suggests he knows the Celtics are locked on Fultz.
Unless Brett Brown was serious when he said he'd use Simmons as a PG ("really a PG" not "point forward" as he said -- http://www.libertyballers.com/2017/...ons-when-i-say-point-guard-i-mean-point-guard), or they go after a guard in free agency, I think they take whoever is the best guard available, given they already have a pretty solid young front line. Of course, they could still take Jackson and trade down or trade the pick for one.
