Cant count on a 66/1 shot coming home.
Good tip. Let me know if my man tips you again. Id stay on it.

Was actually given the 66/1 shot. Guy I know works for one of the online bookies is the best Hunter Chase form man in the country by far. Gave us about 7 for Stratford last night, but copped for the 66/1 winner. Gutted I only threw a £5 ew on it 🙁

Throw any future tips this way please DG

Maddock : Reports from Lyon suggest delay, rather than collapse, of £53m deal for Fekir to @LFC, despite concerns over medical issues. Sources suggest transfer COULD be resurrected, though wait may go beyond World Cup.

Now apparently this medical issue is a knee problem. Mohamed Bhoufasi(french journalist) did say a few weeks ago on a podcast that Fekir has near constant knee pain and discomfort - and that last season he was sitting out 1 training session a week, and doing lighter work than the rest of the group...and that this season he's now sitting out a planned 2 sessions a week and doing light work when he does train.

He said that Fekir's brother Yassin said it will be a lifelong issue, but that Nabil has got used to to pain - and only has minor, infrequent swelling and a 'steady' level of pain with the current training regime he's on. If this is a the case then we need to walk away. If he can't handle training at Lyon he's going to fall apart under Klopp's heavy training sessions.

I honestly would if 99% of them weren't sent within 5 mins of the start of the race and I then have to find which bookie has the highest odds still and then get the bet on. I'm in a WhatsApp group which I kid you not, crashes prices in a matter of minutes. I bet in hundreds, and I'm only one of the smaller backers! If any are given a bit in advance, I'll try to bang them in the betting forum.

Nabil Fekir's proposed move to Liverpool was shrouded in mystery this morning, after claims the £52.8million move was 'in doubt'.
The French international was expected to join the Reds before France jetted off for the World Cup, after club medical staff flew out to Paris on Thursday following a breakthrough in negotiations.

Personal terms had been agreed with the player wanting to move to Anfield, but there are now suggestions an announcement could be delayed.
And the ECHO understands there is not expected to be one in the near future.
Concerns over the playmaker's fitness have been cited, but it is understood that while a second opinion was sought on a knee issue, those fears were eased, meaning the path was cleared for the midfielder to potentially become the club's second most-expensive signing after Virgil van Dijk.

The deal had become so advanced that Fekir had undergone media duties in a Liverpool strip, with pictures of his imminent announcement seemingly being leaked on social media.
Yet after no announcement on Friday - it became apparent there wouldn't be one early evening - fears grew over a potential hitch.
The French club sparked concerns on Friday morning after releasing a statement on Twitter labelling reports of an imminent transfer as 'false', but it is believed that could be related to their status as a publicly listed company (plc).

This means Lyon are obliged to ensure any information that could affect their share price must not be released until the deal is officially announced.

Reports in France, meanwhile, claimed an issue related to Lyon and their accounting practices, while club president Jean Michel-Aulas was hopeful of keeping Fekir until after the World Cup, despite a breakthrough with Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Edwards, who is in Paris, were keen to complete the move before Fekir heads out with France for the World Cup in Russia.
France meet the United States on Saturday, in Lyon, before flying out for the start of their tournament.
Fekir, along with the rest of the France squad, is thought to have been told by national team coach Didier Deschamps he will not now allow players to leave the camp to conduct transfer business.

I can't see why we'd be in for a player whose body isn't up to the kind of intense style of playing - and training - that's demanded. How the heck could he even get through a Klopp pre-season? Hopefully this has been wildly exaggerated.

This is still done, but Liverpool have said don't expect an announcement today. Not sure what the hold up is.

Sorry, I didnt realise your made up festival was still going on.
You should be as my concerns about the knee for 53M GBP have not been unfounded. But obviously you were totally pissed at the time.

All - if there is anything wrong with this guy we should pull out. Cannot spend 53M on a cripple. We have enough injury problems during a season. New names please .....

Never understood the hype for James Rodriguez. He's looked so average every time i've watched him.

Agreed I always considered that he was living off his world cup performances

He got overhyped over that ONE goal he scored. Plus we've seen many times players have a good tournament and are then average when they play club football.
Nah not having that. He may not have lived up to potential since but he was brilliant the whole tournament. My Player of that Tournament. Hasn't played much since and has had very tough competition to even get a game since moving this past season. There's a really good player in there somewhere, someone like Klopp could get him out.

Fair enough, but personally i avoid basing a player on tournaments as we all know they raise their game a lot hoping to get a move. Its their club form when you really see what they're capable of and he hasn't delivered.

Guys if the medical report on knee issue is true what does it say about his future and Lyons transfer value / dealings...i mean they were about to offload a 53M worth of damaged goods.

It's up to the buying club to do their due diligence and says nothing about Lyon at all.

And if Fekir doesn't end up here, who cares about his future? I'm sure he'll be fine, anyways.
