Not sure how I feel about this, seems a bit small time from us.

Nah, it's standard practice. You agree a price on a car on autotrader & then when you pick it up find faults you negotiate a lower price.

Also, it could mean we're trying to renegotiate his personal terms/bonuses & possibly wage reductions if injured etc also, which again makes sense.

Deal is off Appaz..

Liverpool decided to play hardball after the outcome of the medical, Lyon having none of it, insisting Liverpool stick to the original schedule of payment. Liverpool have now walked away from the deal..

All media coverage for LFC.tv was put together after the initial deal was agreed. Lyon had given Liverpool permission to speak to the player, personal term where also agreed

I personally think this will get done..

The club are rightfully trying to get the best deal for the club
If he's got jammy leg, the club should walk away. We don't need another Sturridge and Sturridge on top form is a £60m striker.

Funny thing is that there is absolutely no consensus on what the hold up is, with Liverpool keeping its collective mouth shut only adding to the mystery.

Of course this will get done. The club would have been aware of any training restrictions or injuries prior to bidding.
If they are willing to go ahead and not just kill the deal stone dead then it means they are happy with the results though maybe trying to wring out the last few £ in the form of performance based bonuses rather than cash on the table. Whatever come Sunday night he's ours.

The French FA have confirmed it.
Edit, sorry re-read the article. Their chief confirmed that Fekir has had a medical. That's it.

Lyon have confirmed the deal is off

They are looking forward to him playing for them next season

Breaking | Liverpool understood to have tried to lower the fee in their pre-existing deal with Lyon after Nabil Fékir's medical, according to @Tanziloic of RMC, who was incidentally the individual who prematurely broke that a deal was in place between the 2 clubs last month.
