Be careful. Some of these lunatics seem to be pretending the crisps on their own are a satisfactory filling for a sandwich.

This is, of course, not true. The addition of a suitable-flavoured crisp to an existing sandwich - such as ham, cheese and pickle - will add a satisfying extra texture and crunch, plus a new flavour profile.

However, crisps on their own between slices of bread, are for fucking savages.

On topic I always buy a packet of salt and vinegar if I'm going to Subway and stuff the crisps into. Amazing addition

I vary from "down-and-dirty" to "posh git" from weekend to weekend. I'll have a bacon butty with fried egg and brown sauce obv on saturday but next week it will be prosciutto ham, brie, basil, olive oil, tomato in a baguette, ciabatta.

Without the Mayo, that is one of the most repulsive, yet magnificent sandwiches ever. It's council estate stairwells and dirty Reebok classics in between bread.

With the Mayo, it's slightly less impressive, if obviously more palatable.

Without the Mayo, that is one of the most repulsive, yet magnificent sandwiches ever. It's council estate stairwells and dirty Reebok classics in between bread.

With the Mayo, it's slightly less impressive, if obviously more palatable.

Without mayo, it's as dry as chewing rock salt. It was my staple through sixth form and university, where coincidentally i was constantly sporting Reebok Classics!! Maybe I'm not as close to middle class as I hoped.......
