Ladies and Gentlemen,

Enjoyed it. One comment only - be a tad more careful using the spellcheck ("resilience", "balloon&quot😉. "For want of a nail", and all that.

I quite like it Paul. The layout is clean (not sure about the banner though) and things are easy to find. Good read aswell. There's just one thing missing. A link to here.
 
I enjoyed them I only read the first 2 this morning, but they were entertaining. Great job.

Very nice. I tried to do one a year or so back and this knocks it for six.

Are you going to get marked on this? We could take an article each and proof-read it for ya.

Ah it's not hard at all to set up, and adding the widgets etc. is easy once you do it the one time.

No, not getting marked on it directly, but it will be taken into account for the overall mark.

Hey.. had a look.. the content looks good/interesting.. but the layout and design could do with some work. The colours, the size of the title, the font.. it's all a bit bland.. you've yet to really make your mark on it (right now it seems you're using the default template). I think your blog could be ace if you improved that.

Oh right, thanks for that. The lecturer said he liked the font etc., but you're right, I have used a template from the selection. It would be a good idea to add my own alright. I'll work on it over the next few days and then hopefully it can look a bit better. Appearance is particularly important in something like this, so it will be worth the effort hopefully!

Banners are difficult - nothing ever appeals to everyone (same goes for background colour - in this case Black. BTW I have two sites and in the research I did Cyan is considered to be the most accepted / trusted colour). I liked Paulie's banner - it's different / original.

Yeah got to watch the old spelling mate and a / an. Also can't use the same video of Ferguson (even if it is brilliant) on the same page ! The addition of the balloon had me laughing out loud.

Enjoyed it - good start mate. Now you need to get more articles up ASAP ! Even if they are not War & Peace epics.

WordPress have tons of stuff (and a lot of it is free - just Google Wordpress templates etc.) so you can a strong personal imprint by adding bits & pieces here and there.

If you are taking it commercial you need to build up very good links and there is some great software to help you do that. Some guys make a fortune off of their blogs. There are tons of pro bloggers out there now.
 
Thanks Frogfish, I've a long way to go yet, but it is interesting to see the positive reaction I've gotten from those on the site. I'm surprised by it to be honest, but maybe those who didn't like it didn't like didn't bother their arse having a go!
 
Good evening all,

It's over a year now since I started the trend on my blog. So If it's alright with all the admins, I'd would really appreciate if some you of you could take the time out to have a look at what I have to say, and please be honest in your assessments. I'm finding it harder to find time to write as regularly as I would like, but real life seems to be getting in the way!

Cheers, thanks for that. I asked Ross last year and he said it was no problem, so this time I decided to cut out the middle man.
