Murray is supposed to be a good lad away from the camera, and he is afterall a red.... but he presents like hes had a fucking lobotomy, and his "funny" quips are numbingly embarassing.

Rather than start a new topic on the same bloke....

I know he's a marmite type of bloke on here but it was refreshing to see Colin Murray telling us all in the preview for MOTD 2 that we'd all have the chance to see a fabulous volley.

Also, I heard the voiceover lady on Sat night preview MOTD with the words: "Will Kenny Dalglish get that all important first win...?". Perhaps the worm is turning on the BBC - jug ears aside.
 
They've never been as bad as Sky though. Perhaps that's partly because of Jocky and partly because some of the older commentators remember us at our best and are instinctively more respectful towards us. Or maybe it's because of Murdoch having a large stake in the Mancs. Or all three.

Murray is a Liverpool fan. If he has any input with the content then it'll continue.
 
He was at some away in Portsmouth in the pub singing poor scouser tommy obviously trying to get people to look at him - but I suppose that's his job. The FA Cup one where Riise scored. Alan Hansen was on my flight down too. Speaking of whom, anyone who's been on MOTD 1 or 2 for more than 5 years should be put down and new blood brought in. I was bored of everything he had to say in 1856.
