I'm not particularly bothered by his accent. It's the nasal, whiny nature of the voice that grates on me. And of course, as with any annoying voice (Stan the man was a good example), the words that accompany it.

He's just annoying in about every way it's possible to be annoying.

Gerrard has said he wants to go into broadcasting, although in light of what Brendan's said on this thread, he's accent might be a problem.

Of course Hansen is brilliant, and by far the best pundit on TV.

I don't get the Lineker hatred, maybe people will warm to him now, especially when Murray starts, Lineker will be like a dream in comparison.
 
I really cannot imagine Stevie on the telly, NOT kicking a ball.

I don't hate Lineker.

He's just incredibly boring.
