More-no way!

Started strongly? One OK display against Spurs, and then utterly execrable in every other game.

One of the shittest fullbacks to ever play for Liverpool, and as mediocre and thick as Moreno has been in the past, he's a far better player than Josemi.

So be quiet

He's faster, that's about it.

He can't defend, has zero positional sense, zero awareness of when to attack and when not to, dives in, his distribution is poor.

His pace masks his flaws sometimes but that's all he's got.

I like pace in my team as much as you do but he's shite

Josemi had nothing masking his flaws.
Moreno has been mostly garbage prior to this season but has still put in more performances to avoid being at the bottom of the shit LFC fullback list

Not sure what some see in Robertson to even be calling for him to play ahead of Moreno. He had only played 2 games for us and was mediocre at Hull prior.

Moreno had a great start for us as well with the runaway Spurs goal but gone to shit thereafter. He fought his way back and deserves to start at present.

Far better crossing and less suicidal tackling is what some see in Robertson compared to Moreno. I didn't think he was mediocre for Hull, and he hasn't been for Scotland either. As long as Moreno's performances mean he deserves to keep the shirt he should do so, but that doesn't make Robertson a poor player. He isn't.

Yes I remember some fat bloke playing for Bolton running past him at will. He seemed genuinely incredulous that he'd found a full back he could run past.

I think it was Henrik Pedersen, who was as surprised as anyone that in a race with Slosemi, he suddenly resembled Usain cunting Bolt.

I was watching that, and my heart just sank.

Give it a rest Pat, we get it. You think he's shit. There is no need to go down the hyperbole route which is just discrediting your stance heavily.

We've had some truly dreadful fullbacks, eh?

At least Degen had a decent nickname and was almost comical in his shitness galloping up and down the flank cluelessly before getting injured again.

The rest were just pretty miserable.

Was that Hacksaw Jim Duggan?

I don't even know who HDJ is, if he is actually real.

In fact, I have no idea why it's accurate or funny, but like the clapping seal I am, I just went along with it.

He's been way better this season than last but he's still shite, still leaves gapping holes at left back and needs selling as soon as he get a proper left back

Robinson has looked a complete waste of money so far

Wow. Just wow.

That's the one. He was a wrestler in the Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage era.
I'm glad you confirmed.

I had one other belter name. But I've forgotten what it was now. I remember being super proud.
I never drop them as regular as you.

I still have a fondness for the day I started Pellebastard though. It's simple and brilliant.

Oncy - I think you would by Ravishing Rick Rude.

PS, I must be the only person who liked Bjornebye. Thought he had a decent left peg.

Also, Flano has been a bit unlucky, harsh to include him on a dross list.

I don't recall him being singled out for huge criticism and ya he had some great assists most notable in the Newcastle 4-3 II match.

I know Ryan hated him

He was so irrevocably shit that "Pellebastard" did seem beautifully apt.

I've stopped with the regular application of nicknames, I don't bother as much anymore - unless I really hate them - and even then I don't use them in match ratings etc.

Might have to come up with one for Matip, that cunt's been useless this season and has a head like a fucking sheriff's badge.

I called his effete averageness after about 5 games.
I don't get at all what people see in him. He's weak as fuck.

I think some were/are swayed by the fact Klopp signed him (when his Godlike infallibility was still a thing), plus he fits that 'cultured, ball-playing' central defender stereotype that has a certain type of fan jizzing in their bills - you know the sort, talking about transitions and high pressing and death by football, and don't like players who are actually boss defenders like Jamie Carragher

So like Daniel Agger was a bit like a Lidl version of Alan Hansen, Matip is a shit version of Daniel Agger

He's slow as fuck, can't head a ball straight, and is a total pussy in the challenge

Fucking useless
