Midfielders other than Bellingham

Not him, FSG. They will wait a 1000 years for the right midfielder.
FSG only cares about the budget. Europe has seen hyperinflation when it comes to players, it makes sense to cast the net out. We almost signed Caiscedo before Brighton, so we are looking at South America.
I don't know anything about the guy maybe @King Binny probably could help us. I just liked how smooth he was at retaining the ball., so Gini-esk

I can't see us signing a 1st team player directly from the Brazilian league (or South American market) at the moment.

[article]Brazilian midfielder Andre Trindade has stated that he had an offer from Nottingham Forest.

The 21-year-old has broken into the Fluminense first team over the past couple of seasons.

Trindade, who could make his international debut against Morocco at the weekend, could have moved to the Premier League over the past few months.

“The team that Danilo joined (wanted me). Fulham also probed," he told 3na Area.

“But I already had an agreement with the president, largely because of Diniz (Fluminense manager) who also wanted to keep the squad for this season.

“I was living a moment when my wife was in the final stages of her pregnancy and I chose to stay here for this great reason."

Alisson/Kelleher?

Ramsay/Bradley
Virgil/Matip
Konate/Medina
Robbo/Kostas

Trent/Hendo/Harvey
Barella/Thiago/Morton
Macallister/Gravenburch/Baj

Salah/Wirtz?/Okafor? Think we need a back up to really push Mo now.
Nunez/Gakpo
Diaz/Jota

Sell Fab Gomez Jones...maybe Kelleher if we get good offers.
We have a lot of left sided forwards (Diaz, Nunez, Jota, Gakpo) who can all play there (and play well). I think we'll see Diaz and Doak on the right for Mo (when rested, as subs, FAC/LC).

I think he'll excel further than Nottingham Forest's Danilo and Wolves' Joao Gomes.

Thanks for that - pity that we won't look at South America for talent despite having quite a few Brazilians in the squad. I've watched a few clips of him, and he just knows how to hold the ball and pass it into little pockets of space.
Considering Danilo cost about £18m, I don't think this guy would cost that much more.
Jack Fawcett is raving about him, and it seems Jack has watched him quite a bit

I see suddenly Alexander Arnold is being compared to de Bruyne. The way we hype players 🙄

We’re not the only ones:

I think it’s a legit comparison to be honest; Trent’s chance-creating numbers speak for themselves.

Yet, he was round being lampooned as recently as the match against Man City. We’ve know he’s good but the ones who were giving him a canning are now lining up to praise him to high heaven.

I'm elated other people think Diaz will work on the right. I've said it for months he'll be that side going forward

True. Maybe if he looked great at Forest Bournemouth and Leeds at home we’d be in a better position for 3rd/4th. He’s not the only 1 mind but just food for thought.

This is so true - its not like he roasted the top team in the league in that 2nd half display against Arsenal

Trent looked great but it was Leeds
He looked good against the Arse. Look at his body language and work rate, its a day and night difference. I even asked the question to Woland if Trent was taking drugs because he rightly guessed/claimed Dele Alli was.
I have been critical of Trent for most of the season but he looks really good now.

It might be we go on a run now.
