And add in Camps ($400 a week) and tournaments....
And if they played in the street, they'd be better players.
Great to hear! It really is fairy tale stuff. Can’t wait for the movie.I'm so happy and excited that the gracious Lord Saviour has decided to selflessly bring football and show the way to one of the world's most underprivileged nations. Fairytale stuff indeed
I've my own experience of football in the states, I studied there in 02/03 and while it was very much a minority sport you could see the interest in it had started to pick up. Anyway, one day I was getting a lift from WV to DC and as we drove past a school we seen a football match on a school pitch and the kids were mainly of African American heritage. The guy I was with shouted out "We've got black kids playing soccer, we're going to win the world cup!!"
Does anyone here watch the MLS?
Benjamin Cremaschi, is he the next big thing?
Ah...the Giovinco days. He was too good for the MLS.I've dropped off the past couple seasons so can't answer your question. But I was watching pretty regularly when Toronto FC were good and all the matches were on cable.
This is why he's the GOAT. No question about it.

Has anyone from the MLS ever been a 'big thing'?Does anyone here watch the MLS?

Not that many but there's Davies andHas anyone from the MLS ever been a 'big thing'?
😀I think I've seen him play in the flesh a handful of times, but the only memories I've got of him are Arbeloa ruining him in the nou camp and Andy Robertson destroying him at Anfield. He's fucking shite.
He reminds me of myself, back in my playing days.
