Meanwhile Man Utd....

I would piss on the ashes of Manchester United.

They can go fuck themselves.

I want them gone. But is this not all stemming from the bitterness of our fall and their rise? I mean, isn't this all rather.........bluenose?

*EDIT* By gone, i mean relegated. Not out of existence. But it would be nice if they fell flat on their face first. Then did leeds a bit.....just a smidge

Probably. Don't know if it's different as I live amongst them?

Suppose for you it's more insufferable. I never speak to mancs so i don't get their gloaty twattiness all the time.

From the Guardian thread:

+++++

I'm a US Lawyer and LFC Supporter.

From the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure

Rule 680

...On two days' notice to the party who obtained the temporary restraining order without notice or on such shorter notice to that party as the court may prescribe, the adverse party may appear and move its dissolution or modification and in that event the court shall proceed to hear and determine such motion as expeditiously as the ends of justice require....

Which means they can ask for it to be removed tomorrow. It's a basic tenet of American Civil Procedure and almost uniform throughout 50 states.

well, well, well...

I would never want Manchester United to go out of business. I hope they get their ownership issues sorted out. I hate them, but i respect history, and i respect their club.

Why would anyone want them out of existance? Footballs would be half the fun without the great rivalries!

I just want us to batter them.

Why do people have differing opinions on anything?

Yeh this. I hate the cunts but without them I'd have no cunts to hate

DOnt get me wrong id love them to get relegated and shit, but not lose their identity. Football belongs top the fans, NOT to fucking fat businesmen.

Yeah true. I prefer Man Utd these days to Man City. At least they've built up their club for decades upon decades, and have history and tradition. They're not one of these clubs that has just fell into prosperity because they were shit and cheap enough for some fat cat to lash money at them to assemble a fantasy team.

The Scums foretold demise is far. Whether we want to admit it, they're a world class brand and a cash cow.

While they have a fairly decent squad and are definately there for the taking, they play to win and get the results most of the time. Their reputation easily attract the best available players.

If they are put up for sale, there'll be takers and quick.

City fans have never bothered me (I know they weren't competitive, but they aren't even interested in this scouse-manc debate).

Most of them in fact are rather embarrassed my recent events. Still, they're not TOO upset 😉

City fans are generally decent people, but I can't stand the club at the moment.

It is funny though that a few that I've spoken to still believe it's all going to end in tears in the not too distant future, but it's well worth enjoying it whilst it lasts. Personally I don't see how it can, but I guess years upon years of tedium and failure will do that to you.

I hate manu with a passion but owners that buy clubs and then load it back on the club asking the fans to foot the bill is bullshit and needs to be dealt with.

They'd have to pay something like 1.3 billion for the Glazers to see any return though. I can't see that happening.
