Just watched Juve vs Roma. I'm glad we didn't buy Ljaic. I don't see a player like him being making a successful transition to England, at least at this point he looks far from ready. Doesn't make decisions quickly enough even for the sleepy pace of Italian football.

Vidal is a beast, but Pogba is still raw and sloppy at times.

Yeah, Ljaic wasnt good today. Vidal is amazing. Still cant believe Juve didnt qualify from the group stages in the CL.

The commentator said that Juve will have to win Europa League in order to make roughly the same money they would have made had they reached 1/4 of CL. Hope they do.

I never want us to sign a player from Italy again.

Speaking of the man who has not been mentioned in a while...

Aquilani wants World Cup spot
By Football Italia staff

Fiorentina’s Alberto Aquilani says Brazil 2014 will probably be his last chance of appearing at a World Cup.

“Being picked for the squad is the objective of all,” the midfielder noted. “This could be my last World Cup…

“Italy boss Cesare Prandelli expects even more from me, but now I have six months left to convince him to pick me.”

Aquilani, 29, has appeared for his country at Euro 2008 and last summer’s Confederations Cup in Brazil.

The former Roma, Juventus, Milan and Liverpool man has scored five goals in 33 appearances for the Azzurri.
