What type of injury crisis, Jules? A brand new, state of the art treatment centre with no one currently using it? 🙂
That would explain the link to Kewell, as well.
Really?
Yes, they're hoping by bringing the two players into the same room they might spontaneously generate the cure for cancer and AIDS.

Maxi is a hard working slow midfielder who can play a similar role like kuyt .More or less a typical rafa player not the skilful fast winger we have been craving for .The positive news is he is friends with torres and masch and can score a couple of long range goals .

I wouldn't call him slow, and he's faster than Kuyt.

But the main thing is that he's fucking quality.

It's irresponsible to build him up like this.

Mirror Football................

Liverpool have won the race to sign Maxi Rodriguez from Atletico Madrid.

The Argentine winger is joining Liverpool in a £1.5million and has agreed an 18-month contract with the Reds.

Rafa Benitez is delighted to have landed Rodriguez in a cut-price deal and Atletico have been forced to accept Liverpool’s knockdown offer because they risked losing the player for free when his contract expired in the summer.

Rodriguez, who was also wanted by Boca Juniors, is excited about moving to Anfield and teaming up with his old friends Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano.

will not believe until he is presented
Yeah, same here.

Can someone please clear up this injury business though. Is he really injured and how long is he expected to be out for?

Love it.

I wanted us to sign him about three years ago. Hope he settles in well and hits the ground running.

With a decent touch though.
Hopefully he will take Kuyt's RW position
no chance, he's our new Lw! 🙂

Uh huh, lots of serious work going on there

do you really believe he will improve our attacking play? his decent touch will be an improvment on the ball bouncing off kuyt. but then what is he exactly going to do with the ball. he's slow. he's going to be closed down faster than he's been used to in spain. what are you expecting out of him? all he will do is control the ball and pass it infield to lucas. a few passes later and there'll be a hoof up to torres. wow.

the more important difference is our right winger won't track back as often as kuyt used to. in terms of this season and trying to finish 4th, thats the last thing we need.

That was wishfull thinking.
Yeah surely Rafa will play him at LW which is not his best position.
Our Rafa likes to play players out of position.
Hes played LM for Argentina quite a bit. But hes a RW predominantly. And he can do things that would make Dirk cry.

Im not going to get on Dirks case like most seem to be, because hes been fucking brilliant for us in spells, but he needs resting and like all players he needs to be worried that he wont be starting when saturday comes.
Unlike say Fergie who plays Rooney at LM half the time, or Carrick ahead of Evans at CB? Or Nani on the right? Or maybe Wenger who plays Eboue at RB or Van persie at LW or Rosicky at RM? Or maybe Ancelotti who plays Ballack at DM or Lampard at LM?

Grow up Tony for fuck sake.
