I don't care how fucking crap he is, he would appear to be the best lucky mascot in world football.

If you include the Juve titles that were later rescinded, an AC Milan title this year means he will have won the league title every single year for the last seven years, with four different teams, in two different leagues.

He's got to be worth £100m. At least.
 
He won the league for Ajax the two seasons prior to juve too. So its three countries 9 titles 5 clubs in 10 years.
 
I know there are loads of people who don't like Zlatan but I think he is amazing. I love his wedding gift quote too. 8)

It's gotten quite funny how much stick and how underrated Ibrahimovic is on SCM.

He's a quality player and his record speaks for itself. To suggest anything else is just ludicrous tbh.
You don't have a 0,5 goal average without being class. 400 games 200 goals.
 
Sure he's a gifted footballer, I just don't like him. Especially his attitude. He has a history of causing trouble at every club he's played in. Recently he decided to start a fight with Onyewu.

They way overpaid for him that's for sure but It's not Zlatan's fault. If the majority thinks he's worth that then yes he is overrated.

Milan will however only have to pay €24m for him and that is another woeful transfer by Barca. His true value is somewhere in between.

That's a good goal, admittedly. I don't rate him that highly though. Good player, but MASSIVELY overrated.
 
His goal for Sweden vs Italy at Euro 2004 was beyond luda.
He scores one in two in any league in any team he has played and wins again and again and again.
I dont know why the need for debate. Those that think hes a cracking player are right and backed up by 10 years of hard (silver) evidence, those that dont are wrong and are backed up by nothing.
He does have a conk tho.
 
i'll repeat my stance ... he's got a fantastic record but had yet to consistently do it against the big boys (or in the knockout stages in Europe). That started to change last year in the UCL and against Real Madrid, and this year, he's got a goal in the derby and Milan are in good shape for a scudetto challenge. He's definitely now one of the best in the world. Yes, he's a cunt, but he's earned the right to be placed amongst the best in the world.

Oncy - There was a 'reason' to debate (his inability to score in big games - though that debate was more of what 'level' of great he was on). On another note, Torres has won nothing on club level. I hope that doesn't mean that his 'greatness' is up to debate as he's not backed up by 10 years of hard evidence.
 
Yeah what LTW says is why I'm not convinced yet. I'll change my mind if he consistently shows how good he is on a big stage. I've seen him play a fair bit, mostly big, important matches, and say 8 out of 10 of them he's been massively underwhelming. Fair enough if he does it against the weaker sides, he's still a good player, but when it comes to crunch time in the big games he needs to do more.

It looks as though that may be starting to change now, though.

On a sidenote, Phil Neville has won everything in the game at club level. Doesn't make him a superstar. Not that Ibrahimovic is down at Neville's level. Just shows that your medal collection isn't the best way to judge a player's ability.
