Not at the races. Best all round if we end it. He'll be good somewhere else where it's tick-and-pass and we can't carry the fucker.

Yeah, pretty poor buy from the get go and never looked close to justifying his rep or price.

Well now that I've seen him for a few games, my overall impression of him is that he's at best a squad player.

Utter garbage. He should have come back with a point to prove to the manager, a second chance to show what he's made of. He's been lack lustre in all the games. Larrys right lets just cut our losses and sell him.

I agree that its best for all if he leaves, but think there is a general level of unfairness in the way he is viewed. He was mis-managed from the start, sent out on loan, injured, and returned to shortly hear that he was on a clear-out list. Last night he showed an exceptional burst of pace down the right, and a piece of skill which saw him dance through several challenges. He should leave though. His time, negligible as it was, has gone at Anfield.

That piece of skill was very reminiscent of Baros. Got pass several challenges with his head down and I'm guessing he doesn't know how he did it, where he was or how he got there.

Well we have seen a good deal of vision from him too in some of his passing. So, he obviously has a range of skills.

I like him and still think he could have a great career but I'll concede that he now looks highly unlikely to settle or perform with us. He looks like he wants to be elsewhere and I'm guessing that there are about 10 players ahead of him for a game.

He's looked about as likely to score a goal in the pre-season games I've seen as Sadio Mane.

I like his pace though. A whole fucking lot. I'd love to have him on the bench.

He's a fucking limpdick. Cunt looks like he's jump over the new main stand at the thought of someone about to tackle him.

It'd be a disgrace if he got games over someone like Ojo this season.

There were two almost identical moments between Markovic and Ojo yesterday - both beat Milan's full-back for pace on the right flank and than all was needed was an accurate pass/cross. Ojo passed the ball along the ground cleanly and precisely. Markovic in the same situation made some kind weird chip that would have been very hard to control and convert even had it been accurate (it was not). I think that moment illustrated a difference between them: for Ojo acceleration comes easy and naturally and he is able to keep a cool head after beating someone for pace. But Markovic seems to spend so much effort running that he is rarely able to make the best decision afterwards; it's like he can either play precise, but slow or fast, but erratic but not the best of both.

He's so pointless I think I'd prefer to waste those 20M on Robbie Keane or Stewart Downing again

He's not that bad. Just a bit soft and lacking form and confidence.

A year in la liga would do wonders for his confidence.

Its unlikely that he'll ever come close to achieving his potential with us. Poor signing and not just because of his ability but because we've had zero plan to develop him appropriately.

Like buying a £70 steak.. deep frying it before serving it with ketchup and potato gems and wondering why it didn't turn out amazing.

Wait, wait, wait...as I recall Ojo's cross was deflected hence why it reached Firmino.
Or Are you talking about a different situation.

“Everyone knows that Lazar is a very quick player but he was not at 100 percent [in pre-season training] and there was some doubt as to how it would be,” the manager added.

“Since then he became better and better and he is in much better shape.

“He’s a good boy and works hard. At the end we will have to see how we will build our squad.

“We have time until August 31 or maybe something will happen earlier, or something will happen on the 31st or something will never happen.

“There is no final decision in this moment. We need all these players for the games and our training sessions and he is part of it.”
