Shelvey looked like the only one who tried to, he carved open four or five real opportunities that were spurned and was then shunted wide. Allen and Lucas were the ones who should have grabbed the game by the scruff, instead they did a perfect imitation of one another, offering poor protection to the defense and nothing going forward. Pointless, so I don't know why Suso and Shelvey are getting it in the neck, on another day the latter would have had a few assists.

I actually thought Shelvey played well, other than missing a handful of good chances. He won the ball plenty, and found space and time in the Everglades there.

I wouldnt read to much into the performance today imho. It gets shaky and looks out of shape when you have a makeshift side like we did today. The back 5 were all changed and havent played much together.

The one concern I have is that we yet again struggle with physical sides.

For Mansfield this was the game of their lives and they played like it. That and a shocking pitch and things arent as easy as you think.

How the fuck is Alan Green hosting 606? He hasn't seen either game. I saw the Arsenal game and wasn't even interested, let alone employed to do so.

I fucking hate the BBC.

But I do think it is terribly sad that The Magic of The FA Cup has been arrested as part of Operation Yew Tree.

Would love Ferguson to talk about Suarez being a cheat in midweek, only for 'lil Luis to score this weekend and flash his wide open palms and fingers in Ferguson's face right by the sidelines. Done it to his disciple Moyes, now it's the turn for the dark master.

He commentated on our game. What he said repeatedly was him and jan Molbypen did not have a monitor and so haven't seen any replays.

Sent from a mobile device - apologies for any crap

He just kept saying he hadn't seen it. Since then he said he was 100 yards away.

This begs more questions. Why hasn't the BBC commentator at a match got a TV? And why was he sat miles away? He'd have been better watching it on ESPN and commentating on that.

So, the officials saw it and allowed the goal.
How the fuck can Luis be called a cheat when the officals themselves are saying it wasnt deliberate?
I give up. There are some proper bellends out there. Surprise surprise most of them supports Utd and the Blueshite.

I dont care. It was a handball and the ref should have called it...

It is funny to see how people jump to the exact same excuses as my united friends defend the nummer of calls going their way. . So we are the fucking same. Unjustice is fine when it goes our way and pathetic when other gets it? I hate the feeling of being helped by a ref to beat a minor. . I would rather draw and beat them in proper manner at home. I want us to be different than them, but all i read here is the same as i expect from scum fans. .. well fine enough, just dont have a go on them next time around. .

Hardly getting in the neck - he started off well, but faded became wasteful and then peripheral when shunted out wide. More is an observation than a criticism - if he wants to cement a regular starting position it's only going to be through ironing out the flaws and inconsistencies in his game.

Suso has yet to convince out wide in any performance - clearly more suited to the centre but clearly not good enough to command a role there at the moment.

Both are young and will get better.
