You're wrong, dead wrong. It will be a hard game but we will win hands down. You think that they'll be fired up for the game, wait 'til you see us!There's no way we'll win this "hands down". We're certainly good enough to beat them but they'll be fired up big time. It'll be close whatever happens.
Didn't realise seeing the obvious was unhinged 😉Oi.... We're not all unhinged.
if we lose this one, our title dreams are finished...to be on the track we need at least a draw-United have won eight of the last nine PL home games against Liverpool (W8 L1).
-DS15 has scored in his last 2 league games for Liverpool against United.
-RVP has scored 6 goals in his last 7 PL starts against Liverpool.
-Liverpool have scored 47 first half goals in the PL this season, one more than MUFC have in total.
-Only Everton v Liverpool (20) has seen more red cards than the North West Derby (14).
-Only one team (Arsenal) have kept a clean sheet against Liverpool in their last 16 PL away trips.
-Liverpool have been awarded more penalties than any other PL side this season (7). 🤓
-MUFC have not conceded a penalty at Old Trafford in PL since December 31, 2011 (v Blackburn Rovers).
-Six of the last 10 goals in this fixture have been scored in the 15 minute minute period just after half time. (So from 45-60)
-This game features the three players to have been involved in the most PL goals (scoring + assisting) this season: Luis Suarez 34, Daniel Sturridge 23 and Wayne Rooney 21.
Simple game, start Coutinho...they are playing home, they will be underpressure to score a goal and will try hard. We usually do much better defensively when we defend as a unit and attack like a pack of wolves and simply counter...Utd will be all over place, one of the defenders/MF will get a early yellow card because of the foul on Sterling or Cou, game done and dusted right thereOnly if you give him five dowwar

dont you know, our tactics are always that target the man with yellow card or someone who is having an OFF day or a weak player of the opposite team 😉I like your enthusiasm, but I can't see the game being decided by a yellow card.
If Jones and smalling play like they did last weekend, we'll smash em
I'm actually not too worried about the crosses, I think Agger and Skrtel will deal with them fine. What I am worried about is that this will no doubt be the time that Rooney decides he's up for it and has a blinder, Gerrard on Rooney will be a huge match up. Hopefully Mata will be out wide and have a quiet game. The crosses thing bothers me most.
It's almost like Utd have been practicing how to play against us all season.
Their strength is our weakness.
Thankfully they're also defending poorly, esp against quick counter attacking sides, so we should be able to score too.
This could be a proper thriller. If we win it'll be boss to watch back, but during the game I may be suffering a coronary.

I miss that genius.Last time we played them at OT we had this team:
Reina
Wisdom
Skrtel
Agger
Johnson
Lucas
Allen
Gerrard
Sterling
Suarez
Downing
We're much improved
If Gerrard is fired up and has one of them games he might well break van Persie in half
