Ha! I had a nap through the first half then got bored and whacked Madlib on the Minx and danced around with my 2 year old lad. Kids - Making everything seem ace since 2013! Utd? Pffffft!

*Puts yesterdays ODI highlights on*
that will only last for about 10 years!

I think it's no knee jerk reaction mate. .

Enough is enough

You cannot spend all this money and expect to get away with it worth performances like this. .

Rodgers is out of his depth. He should of been sacked at the end of last season, a stupid amount of money spent later, we have gone further backwards

7 points after 5 games. Arse and old toilet done. There is every chance we will look great in 10 games time.

Calling for the managers head at this point is... Well, nonsensical - to be nice.

Chill and give the project a chance. When you opt to keep the legend until he is 35 instead of a slow and steady timely rebuild and you are a selling club like we are, THIS is what you get.

Cutting Rodgers won't change that.

You're running Rodgers close for the deluded cunt of the year award.

My team has turned into a big poo. I'll be here for 3 more mins and then I'm going to consume edibles till I'm incapable of clear thoughts. Eat more fiber.

His time at Swansea says he's no nomark, but I'm reluctantly coming round to the view that he's in over his head at a club like LFC.

Ok. You best go. This poo is epic. Really enjoying it. I wonder how @FoxForceFive organizes his poos. I'm prepared to offer the prize of a brand new owl to whoever does the best version of that.

Interesting. I would have said there was plenty of technical ability in that squad, but they're not being organised effectively.

I had to go to a charity do last night and had to leave at 7pm, so I missed everything from just after their penalty. How did Origi do?

I thought it was pretty harsh to take Ings off, one the midfielders should have made way instead and we should have tried Origi with Benteke AND Ings. I thought we should have brought Ibe on at half time too, just add a bit of pace on the break and someone who could get in behind. You could see the difference Young made in that respect. Anyway, that was just about the worst first half performance I've seen in recent years, both sides were poor but we were gutless and lacking any sort of game plan. We look flat, disjointed and lacking anyone with the confidence to get hold of the game. You can partly blame the players but it's a worrying mentality that this team has. There has always been lingering concerns that we let our heads drop too easily, but I agree with Macca on this one, we look defeated before the game even starts. We need a lift, whether that starts and ends with Rodgers one way or another I really don't know, but the optimism of the Summer and upto the Arsenal game has evaporated in next to no time.

We had that huddle before the start and i thought the players were all getting pumped up. The next 45mins is the most gutless showing ever. Only Ings showed any sort of fight and he was taken off.

I really didn't understand the reasoning for taking him off. There seems to be this mentality of knowing who's coming off first prior to kick off. I've seen that at every level and it's a worrying trait, it should be something measured on performance. He wasn't amazing but he was by far the standout performer because the lad has heart and he works hard, he was also the slightest bit of threat we had.

He was probably knackered after being given an impossible job. To answer your other post Origi was meh played out wide most of the time, but Ibe was better and could have scored but for a stunning save from De Gea

Cheers Tony, as said, we should be playing players who want to be on the ball. Yesterday was a repetitive act of cowardice, players constantly losing the ball because they just didn't want it.

The match was shite. Its reaffirmed my view that we have the biggest bunch of fannies around.

I'd get rid of Skrtel in a heartbeat. The fact he is our 'senior' defender; its no wonder we're fucked defensively.

Firmino is wank. Even if he's being played out of position, he just looks fucking useless. That miss in the second half was abysmal. Plus, the way the oppo just run past him is embarrassing.

I like Clyne, Milner and Benteke.

I've had it with Rodgers though. The way we've started despite getting most of our transfers in early and him having the summer to get this sorted, it just shows he's not up to it.

I'm not defending Rodgers' here in any way shape or form because that was yet another pitiful showing, but it's not like we don't bottle it at Old Trafford more often than not regardless of who's in charge. Won there twice in 14 games. I loved Rafa but he served up some shite when we went there under his Management.

That said, the excuses are running out Brendan. We look like a broken team.

I sympathize with Firmino. Thrust onto the wing with no support from a midfield that was being outfought and out-thought all game. He had little to contribute offensively, but we didn't seem to have a plan for him and Ings beyond supporting the full backs. Still he put in a shift and managed 8 tackles, more than any other player on the pitch.

This game was not about Firminos strength or weaknesses at all.... You could as well have put Moreno on Right sided midfielder and got the same kind of performance, cause neither he or Firmino belongs as deep laying hard working RM.

Is Skrtel getting off lightly for the Martial goal? We'd still be picking up Lovren's carcass all over this forum if he had been turned inside out like that.
