I hope we go something like this against Scum, attack them. Bit worried about centre mid, but personally I think Stevie should be played off Torres:

--------------------Reina--------------------
Kelly------Skrtel-------Agger-----Aurelio
Johnson---Lucas----Meireles---Cole/Maxi
-----------------Gerrard--------------------
----------------------Torres-----------------
[/quote]

In this game I prefer Kuyt on the right to close down Evra. He can do that job well.

That's what I'd like.

Or maybe:
--------------------Reina--------------------
Kelly------Skrtel-------Agger-----Aurelio
Johnson---Gerrard----Meireles---Cole/Maxi
-----------------Kuyt--------------------
----------------------Torres-----------------

The funny thing is that all the pundits talks about the shit squad which was Rafas legacy. And still after bringing in 9 players since Roys arrival as manager there is 1 or 2 of them who will be concidered at our best XI.

the pundits say roy is suffering because of the legacy of the previous manager but conveniently ignore fulham's struggles. double standards.

Rumour has it, Kenny's going to play a Poulson/Lucas centre midfield tomorrow.

I hope that's a really mean joke.

-------------Reina---------------
Kelly--Skrtel--Agger--Aurelio
------Gerrard-Meireles--------
Johnson---------------Cole----
--------Kuyt----Torres---------

THAT is our best XI. Assuming Kuyt and Cole are on form..

Maxi doesn't deserve to play an away game ever again, and so long as Gerrard and Ming attack and defend together without one leaving the other to do all the spade work, it could be good.

anything but fullback ;D

I'm nervous for Kenny as underperformance will put him under considerable pressure.

Has he been keeping up with professional developments in the game?

Tactical changes? Is he up to date in coaching changes?

I hope so - nervous as well now, but I would be no matter who was appointed.

I'm nervous for him too. More nervous than any other person we could have appointed. We all have a vested interest in him doing well for himself as well as the club. Obviously we want every manager of the club to do well, but with Kenny there's more to it than normal.

He watches enough footy to know how teams play.

For all Sky's bollocks, it's still 11 men vs 11 men, it's not fucking rocket science.

As the great man said:

"Football is a simple game made complicated by people who should know better."

Yeah, you might get a good cup run out of this FFF, but you do need to be a little more sophisticated these days, since every other top manager has access to considerable analytic methods, your weaknesses and patterns get found out quickly. Anyway..

"It’s easy to paint Dalglish as someone who has been out of the game for too long (and back in the summer I shared some of those concerns), but since then, having spoken to those closest to him, I’ve come to see things differently. I appreciate that his work at the Academy since 2009 has acted as a refresher course (as were his discussions with Rafa Benítez), and if you have a great footballing mind, you can adapt. Dalglish was always a thinker. And with his son, Paul (who has managed in Major League Soccer), a big fan of the fast-pressing game of Pep Guardiola, the family is very much in touch with the modern game."

I'm quite excited.

I've only heart the stories about Kenny Dalglish, but now he has been appointed manager, I hope to be able to tell a few of my own by the end of the season.

I absolutely do - and ite still goign strrong 3hours on and having had 2 wanks ... and I'm 45 years old!!!!

BTW - the team does not includ enough fullbacks for a Dalglish away line up, you need to add Ablett & Staunton
