Pace of Bellamy is missing.
Aerial threat of Carroll is missing.

It's a very negative, one paced side. Going to take massive performances from Henderson and Downing to justify their inclusion.

I don't think that lineup is as negative as some of you are making.

I'd have Bellamy over Kuyt or Downing....but that's a good substitution option anyway.

Adam/Gerrard play a bit similar so i'm happy to have just the one player start.

Likewise Carrol is also a good option from the bench.

Gerrard will have a lot of freedom in the midfield today as Hendo and Spearing should be able to easily contain the threat offered by Scholes, Carrick and Giggs. So it depends on how Gerrard makes use of it.....lets hope he brings his A game.
